You can put left right buttons on banner, Then users easily go to next banner of your website. And remove broken images like
You can use open new tab on the links on the footer section and items on grid page, then customers are spent more time on your store. I see one of your item in view page, item contains only specifications you can add the description of items, An elegantly composed item description clarifies the advantages of the item and persuades the customer that they need the item as well as need it. Your item description is the one you need to catch their eye to in light of the fact that it can without much of a stretch pull in them and influence them to put in a request.

Here are some ways to make your store even better and make people want to purchase.

Hi Zoe! Maggie, Shopify Partner here :)

You are consistent with your branding, which is important. Your homepage looks very professional and engaging, perfect.

One recommendation: make sure to open the social media icons in new tabs, so you don’t lose the valuable traffic. Please see how to do it in this helpful guide:

Contact us page - consider hyperlinking your email address for a one-click contact - see the step-by-step instructions here: how to hyperlink email address. Make sure also to link the Instagram CTA to your Instagram account [so people know your handle], and open the link in a new tab.

Top menu - consider placing the Shop link before About link, as this placement gets more attention and carries more value in terms of conversion rate [sales]:

Product descriptions have plenty of excellent info - consider also using storytelling when writing descriptions. People love reading compelling and unique product descriptions - they can then imagine themselves using the product. This technique is very powerful when selling online - and it can help you significantly boost sales.

Focus on the benefits when writing product descriptions, and not on product features. Make sure to really sell it to the visitor and help them visualize the benefits of owning each product. This short video explains how storytelling can help you sell more.

Blog - consider blogging regularly. Blogging is powerful - it helped me get to Google page #1 in only four days with this blog post: Breadcrumbs in SEO

Your SEO is in a rather bad shape - quite unusually bad. Please consider checking if there is some unusual code blocking the bots from crawling your website, as it might seriously jeopardize your Google ranking.

Your SEO score is 19/100

You are missing doctype declaration, which comes as standard with Shopify websites - did you have an SEO specialist optimizing your website? They definitely messed up the settings.

You seem to have two domain names pointing to your website [most probable your custom domain and the default domain]. Without a 301 redirect set up, Google reads it as two websites with a duplicate content, which can definitely affect your rank.

Your homepage Google snippet doesn’t even display your brand name [default Shopify settings], and the meta title reads “302 found” while meta description is empty:

Screen Shot 2019-07-24 at 18.20.22.png

This snippet is very important, and it’s worth spending more time optimizing it. It’s often the first interaction with a potential new customer, as this snippet is displayed in Google search results. Make sure it’s inviting and irresistible so people click your listing once they see it. Otherwise, Google might drop it as non-relevant to the search results, which will affect your traffic and SEO. Let me know if you’d need help writing irresistible, well-converting Google snippets for your websit....

You have only one H tag, with a value “found”:

Screen Shot 2019-07-24 at 18.22.03.png

Make sure to use them in the right order [H1-H2-H3 etc.] Also, make sure to use your target keywords here to help you rank for them.

Work on the content analysis to rank for your target keywords:

Screen Shot 2019-07-24 at 18.23.40.png

There are no keywords set, no hyperlinks, and virtually no internal/external links:

Screen Shot 2019-07-24 at 18.24.37.png

Image alt tags - make sure to add descriptive SEO friendly alt tags to each new image you upload:

Screen Shot 2019-07-24 at 18.26.24.png

That’s a great way to improve your SEO [Google will be able to understand what each image represents] and make your website more accessible for the users who browse with images switched off.

Some of your URLs are not SEO friendly:

Screen Shot 2019-07-24 at 18.27.34.png

It’s important to fix them now, as you are starting out, as changing URLs later, when you are more established and have more backlinks, will result with a ton of error pages. See how to make your URLs more SEO friendly in this free video guide:

Your website loads fast - within 1.31 seconds, which is excellent:

Screen Shot 2019-07-24 at 18.28.39.png

You have a seriously big number of broken links [127], which is quite unusual for a new website:Screen Shot 2019-07-24 at 18.29.24.png

Please make sure to fix them, as they will cause 404 pages, which will affect your bounce rate, and eventually, your organic Google ranking.

Hey @!

Cal here from Shopify, thanks for reaching out to us. I've taken a look at your site, and you've done some amazing work! Well done. I just have a few user experience suggestions, as the other community members have given you some great optimization advice:

1) Postpone your newsletter pop-up to allow your customers to browse your store a little. It's interrupting your users a little too early.

2)  Do you have a physical store or workshop? Seeing some of the behind the scenes for the company would give the store a great sense of authenticity.

3) Have a separate page for reviews/testimonials, similar to the one from David on your landing page. Peer reviews are really important for conversions, and seeing as you have already considered integrating them into the store, I think you should take it one step further.

Amazing job on the site, what sort of marketing strategy have you folks planned?

Hi zoe28,

Your store looks nice and the products are different.

I have reviewed your website briefly and here are some of my feedbacks that you can implement on the site easily.

  1. Add gradient on the banner image, some grey colour tint, so that the text is visible on home page, currently its hard to read menu items.
  2. Make sure your social media pages opened at the new tab instead of the same tab. This will ensure your customers stay on your website while looking at your social presence.
  3. Add “add to cart” button in the collection page
  4. Also since you have just started you can have some promotional activity on the site, offer some discounts and add referral code that can help the first time user to gain discount on second order.
  5. Add a section at the bottom of product pages to show your most viewed/bought items from the site. This can help increase your average order value.
  6. The default search landing page is bit off, I mean it's empty. You can show products on that page as well by simply updating the default search on the website with different search solution.
  7. Lastly, You have over 224 products. I would strongly recommend to replace the default search with advanced search like Sparq which allows synonyms, advanced custom tag filters, spelling correction and other such feature. Visitors with search are high intent users and their conversion rate is higher than normal users. Check out the features live here.

I hope my feedback will help you converting visitors into customers.

May it rains customers and orders,

Neha :)

Sparq is a fast and beautiful product filter and search solution for Shopify store owners. It allows store owners to add a custom tag, metadata, or variant based filters on their collection page and upgrade their default search to an extremely fast, more user-friendly and feature-rich search.
