Hi everyone,: this is Ran Moore/CEO  of www.eliotgrey.com.  I would like to have your input on my website.

I'm getting sales and traffic but s few of course get stuck at checkout and never complete their purchase.  Some orders are usually $68-$220.

I've installed Exit app pop ups and even sent email reminders   What is your overall opinion on my store including the checkout issue.

Please feel free to critique, with positive feedback as well as what's needed to make www.eliotgrey.com a great site and make $$$.

Hello,

Nice work on your store. I have few suggestions on your store.
Why you have used half of the page is header section? It's not much interested.
You can think to add new dimensions on header section. And remember visitors never scroll down for to see your banner, See this image https://snag.gy/xyPJsM.jpg.
You can use open new tab links on the items on home page and use high quality images on some of your products, then visitors are stay more time on your store.
And why you have used loader on before footer section? Check this image https://snag.gy/aMxpFf.jpg, It's not good to view on your store. Have you promoted your store items regularly on social media? I suggest you can post your items on social media pages. It helps for to increasing of your sales.

Thanks Tan for your imput it's appreciated.  I have no idea where that spinning loader came from and not sure how to get rid of it.

How do I add new open tab links in place of the half image in the banner, can you provide an example?

Hi There,

Your store looks cool. In addition to above i have few tips for you.

I dont see contact us section. Please create the section and provide your contact details - email, phone no and address.

Add similar products in product details page to get more cross sales.

Customer reviews for your products also very important to get more sales.

As far as your orders go, if your prices can't compete with Amazon, you will have problems. Nearly everyone leaves a website like yours and goes to Amazon to find the same product. If you can't beat their price, why would the potential customer come back to your site?

For example, on your site, the Dino - Faux Leather Fleece Lined Jacket you are selling for $90 at

only costs $63 (item + shipping) on Amazon at

Good point but how can one compete with Amazon and still remain in business,  unless one just sit back and watch thier own companies demise. What's your suggestion in a case like this?

That is a difficult question that only you can answer. You have to provide potential customers with something Amazon can't give them. For example, if you were a brand, you would give them uniquely branded products plus a sense of community to belong to. But selling the same things everyone else is selling will not be easy. You have to determine what makes you different enough for people to overlook Amazon's prices.
