Congratulations on the launch of your store! I've taken a look through and have some feedback for you.


That main banner area is prime real estate for selling.  One of the keys of selling is getting inside your customers head, what problem do they have that you can solve? Or what is it that they desire that you provide? Use words or phrases that they do to show that you understand their needs. We recommend using this type of text in your banner. For the format, we recommend having a professional photo of your products, a title introducing your brand or product, a line of text underneath that expands on your title and a call to action button such as "Shop Now". Here is an example:


I’d recommend working on your product descriptions. There are things you can add in and change in order to increase conversions. We did a video all about this which you can watch here:

I would highly recommend that you encourage your customers to leave a review on the products they purchase. Positive reviews are very valuable, they add a lot of trust to your store. We did a video showing a free review app you can use and how to set it up:

One very important piece of selling is getting the right kind of traffic to your store, your target audience (high traffic is not a good thing if it is the wrong kind of traffic). Good SEO will help you  reach your intended audience organically. By default, Shopify will pull your product titles and descriptions and use that as your SEO (that is what is happening in your case). You don't want to leave your SEO to default, you want to make sure you include the same words that a person trying to find your product would search in Google. I’d recommend posting online to local community Facebook pages, marketplace, etc. If there are online markets I would join them and definitely in person when they are up and running again.

With everything you do locally, make sure to include a business card with a discount for their next online order. This will create awareness that you have an online shop. Here is how to create a discount code:

You could also offer incentives such as free local delivery:


For you, I’d recommend creating videos to market your products. You can do short 30 second to 1 minute videos for TikTok, IG Reels, Facebook. You can also do longer videos and post them on YouTube or Facebook. As for the platforms, right now I personally suggest TikTok & YouTube. You are going to grow way faster on TikTok right now than you could on IG Reels or Facebook.
It has the potential to be a double fold success for you because not only can you earn on the platforms themselves (ie. with YouTube you can get adsense, add affiliate links and do brand deals) but also you are driving traffic to your store and selling there as well. A good example of this in action is the Detail Geek. He has a service based vehicle detailing business and creates YouTube videos of himself detailing vehicles. He will mention products he is using and drive traffic to his online store AND he also earns adsense money by allowing YouTube to place ads in his videos.

Here is my feedback

Add descriptions to your collection and product page; I have noticed you don't have any description on the product and collection page.

I think with a description you can share more information about these products and it will help your customers know more about these products. You can also use the description as a marketing tool to tell stories about your products. while I don't know your typical target customer, some curious customers will like to know more about these metals, characters, and your process. The stories behind the characters and materials. 

I highly recommend, crafting short detailed stories about your products and add them to the product pages

For the collection page, you can add a general story about the products in that collection

It might not necessarily be a story, it can be little information about the metals or materials or your process.

The idea is to help your customer be more informed about your product. The collection and product description is a good opportunity for that.

Congrats on your site being live! What a cool product. 

I definitely agree with Collin and adding more descriptions on your product pages will go a long way. You can do these through more detailed information or even add in customer reviews and material descriptions. I know some successful store's have added banners on their product pages, right above their "add to cart" button. There they can display promo codes, about us information and even a great place to add information about materials. 

Another feedback is to have some customer photos using the product. It would certainly add to the already great photography you have on the product.

1.1. Some good points

  • Have high-quality hero banner that reflects what you're selling
  • Some core products have been highlighted
  • Sticky navigation bar

1.2. Some recommendations

1.2.1. Add a call-to-action button on the hero banner

A call-to-action button can increase the conversion rate because it provides immediate access to content. You can add a button which contains 2-3 words starting with a verb for the most effectiveness. So, I recommend you add a CTA button first on the hero banner as it will be one of the most visible places that all users will be more likely to click on.

1.2.2. Add shipping and return information in the footer

Because the difficulty to find returns and shipping information might hinder users’ ability to make a purchase decision, so you should include direct stand-alone links to both ‘Return Policy’ and ‘Shipping Info’ in the footer, as well as direct or indirect links to other secondary site content.

1.2.3. Add Call-to-action button to the product list and list items

In the product list displayed on your homepage, I think it will be better if you put a button to encourage visitors to discover the list more. Similarly, in each list item, you could put “view details” and “buy” buttons, so that visitors will be more likely to take action on this page.

2. Collection page

2.1. Some good points

  • You have used the grid view for visually-driven product
  • Use thumbnail for all list items
  • Allow sorting by name, price, date, etc.

2.2. Some recommendations

2.2.1. Use ‘Load More’ instead of Pagination

When using pagination, products are separated into different pages. With “Load more”, users won’t need to click back or find the page that contains the product that they want to see. Moreover, some studies also proved that “Load more” is the loading scheme that works best across desktop and mobile devices.

2.2.2. Zoom in or display the secondary thumbnail on hover

Since the customers of your products have a high demand for visual product information, I recommend you to allow the visitors to zoom in or display the secondary thumbnail on hover. It will enable them to better assess the products right from the product list by simply looking over their thumbnails.

2.2.3. Include rating information in list items

Many visitors heavily rely on user-generated reviews, therefore, including rating information will make them more confident to look for more details about the product and make a purchase.
