Hey there, @standalone12! Congrats on your second store. It's always exciting to launch a new store, and I'm happy to give you some feedback. 

A few things right off the bat:

  • Great job linking your announcement bar! 
  • You need a favicon

As a first impression, you are missing the mark a bit. When I first landed on your store, it didn’t look like jewelry. There was nothing to pull me in and want to learn more. When I saw your product price point, I started to get concerned. When you have such high cost items, you really have to roll out the red carpet. You have to build a level of trust that they can spend thousands of dollars with your business and not worry that it’s a scam.


  • Logo: Personally, I would create a logo that matches your brand. If you want  to sell premium quality, high priced items, think of a logo that matches with it. I would also move it to the left side to pump your main navigation up.
  • Hero image: This needs to be cleaned up. Think of a tagline or an invitation with a strong call to action button. You want people to see “YES! I need this!” to click into it.
  • “We’re back…”: I would just take this out. It’s not adding value to your visitors. 
  • Right below your hero image, I would highlight some of your product collections, like Rings, Bracelets and Necklaces, instead of jumping into your products. Use a click heatmap to evaluate which collections are your most popular.  
  • “Be yourself and shine”: Again, just remove it. I would put testimonials in here instead or a select number of your trending products. 

Overall, take a moment to evaluate your homepage in the eyes of your visitors. Watch a session recording, which acts like a DVR for your website, to see what happens when someone lands on your website. Where do they go? How do they engage with your store?


  • Contact us: Provide your email address and make the message more inviting. Think about a white gloves-sort of service. Again, you want people to feel that they can spend thousands of dollars on your products, and it starts with a better message.
  • Privacy Policy: Link the URLs mentioned. Also, update the text under “Changes.” There’s some default text left behind. 
  • Refund Policy: Link your email address.
  • Terms of service: Link your email address.
  • About us: This needs to be updated ASAP. Think about the image you’re portraying to visitors. Right now, the grammar is all over the place, and it doesn’t feel luxurious. Get rid of the VectorStock-branded image and help visitors trust you. 
  • Welcome back: This block of text likely isn’t being read, but it isn’t helping your visitors. I understand that you’re trying to work with SEO here, but this isn’t the way to do it. 
  • Newsletter: Explain why someone would want to sign up for the newsletter. Do they get insights from the jewelers? Free shipping? A larger discount? Think about why someone would want to get your newsletter. 

Main Navigation

  • You need to do some work here. Again, it’s not screaming HIGH END FASHION. 
  • Think of the collections your visitors would be interested in. For example, Jewelry Rings isn’t necessary. Why not just do Rings? 
  • The same goes with all of these collections. Why have a catalog and a Jewelry shop? Aren’t those the same?
  • Evaluate a click heatmap to see where people are clicking. Are they clicking on a few collections more so than others? 

Collection Pages

For reference, I’m in Bracelet Jewelry.

  • Product names: Be consistent here and make it feel higher end. Right now your product names are all over the place. It’s stacked with keywords, which isn’t a good thing. 
  • Product images: Again, consistency is key. It’s going to pay to take your own photos and keep them consistent. If I saw something like this image for a product that is being sold for $3000+, I would immediately leave your website.
  • Filters: You need to make the filters usable. Right now, the filters aren’t very helpful. I would sort by gold, gem, price, color, quality and ratings. 

Product Pages

For reference, I’m on the FREE shipping>>18'' 10mmx15mm Rectangle White Freshwater Pearl Bracelet Necklace Set page. 

  • Again, the name has to change. It’s not helping people to trust your site, especially for something that’s so expensive.
  • Promote free shipping in a different way. Mention it under the product name or pricing. Do NOT put it into the product name.
  • Update the colors of your buttons to match your brand colors. Again, this is a detail that higher end visitors will expect.
  • Description: Do not take the easy road here. The information you have here is unhelpful and screams "I DROPSHIP." Make it an engaging description that draws customers in. There are also inconsistencies here. It says the material is Jade with Silver Plated metal. Your product name says it’s pearl. That’s a huge difference. There’s just no way around it - you have to spruce up these descriptions.  
  • You’re missing some important information like length. While it’s in the product name, most people don’t look for product dimensions in the product name. If they wanted to know how long this necklace is, they would likely leave instead of seeing it in the product name. 
  • Add in reviews! People want to know what others thought about the products. Do not just port in reviews from the drop-shipper; it looks very sketchy when it’s done like that. 

I’m not going to sugar coat it - you have some work to do. It may even be wise to look at your audience and your strategy to determine if this is the right product line for you to sell. Visitor behavior is going to help you evaluate what changes need to be made and why it is working (or not).   1. Clear CTAs - help to show what to do next. Hero banner on your homepage is a key to make a connection with every visitor. You should clearly communicate what your website is about.
  2. Branding - clearly show your company branding. Logo, brand colors, brand fonts - should be the same across websites, emails, and social profiles. A key part of building your brand is making it recognizable. 
  3. Social proof - an incredibly powerful sales and lead generation tool. 
  4. Engaging images - you need them on your homepage to give visitors a sense of what your business is about. Images help you to tell a story and show visitors what they can gain from your product. For a product website think about how images can convey the value of your product and help your visitors to achieve their goals.
  5. Add a favicon
  6. Try adding SEO related high search keywords in your title and product description so that it will be very easy to market your products and display them at the top in google search.
  7. If your website doesn’t have a blog already, make creating one a priority. But if you have a blog, it gives people a reason to keep coming back. Blogs also help improve your SEO because you’re constantly adding new content to your page.
  8. Homepage designs guides your visitors around your website. To engage visitors you need to work on homepage layout design.  Include trust indicators on the homepage. Homepage content should be strategically decided.
  9. 90% of people read reviews before purchasing an item. I personally do not read the description too much, I go straight on to the reviews section because that is social proof. In my opinion that is essential for every site. I highly recommend (almost insist) and adding that feature on your site. You can use Growave for that, it offers automated emails within the Reviews feature as well.
  10. Imagine if you saw something that you quite like in the store, however you want to browse more, get more options, and then choose the best one. That often happens to me, because I am indecisive. That is when Wishlist comes in handy. Since you have a lot of products on your site, I recommend adding that feature to improve the user experience on your site. Besides, if the items on the wishlist have not been purchased, automated emails will be sent out as a reminder.
  11. Social media has become a huge thing nowadays. I highly recommend taking advantage of that and adding Instagram galleries on your homepage. It will help drive traffic from your site on to your account and vice versa.
  12. Implement an opportunity to log in and sign up using Social Media account. We all have accounts at least in one social media. And if I have an opportunity to create an account just with one click, I will do it. having an easier way to Sign in will help you gather customer base. The most valuable thing for a company is the customer
  13. The items in your store are more on an expensive side, therefore I recommend giving back to your customers by rewarding them with free shipping, discounts, and other goodies for spending a certain amount of money on your site. That way,  letting your customers know that you care about them.
  14. Take a second look at the pricing policy of yours. Clearly, you are one who really knows the true price for a product, so make sure your customers also understand why they are paying certain amount of money. You can tell more about your brand, resources that you use, that the part of the money is donated, that you are based on sustainable development, etc. A customer needs to know why he/she needs to buy from you but not from a place with more affordable price tags.  
  15. Use a referral program that will encourage your existing customers to share your products with their friends by giving discounts if the latter have purchased something from your store. With referral programs it is important to carefully set up so that you are not giving huge discounts and not getting anything back. I've taken a look at your store. Now the design looks very basic. I've some suggestions to increase the conversion rate.

1. Add favicon to your store which is a small square image/logo that appears next to a web address. Favicon helps to strengthen your brand and add a polished look to your website.
2. Add 'New Arrivals' section to help customers keep updated on new products.
3. Add high quality and attractive images as slideshow/banner
4. Add product reviews as most of the customers read the review before purchasing the product.
5. You can add testimonials on the home page to make the store look more professional.
6. Add social media for the store to increase the traffic. Having social media is a great way to grow your business, allowing you to tap into new audiences and gain more customers.
7. A FAQ would be useful!
8. Try to maintain the same image size while listing all products. 
9. Discounts and limited-time offers will help to increase sales.
10. Add more specific product title/url in product pages.
Creating the perfect SEO product title/url can help the search engine understand exactly what it is you are selling and drive more traffic to your site. So try to keep the product title/url unique and more specific.
11. Add filters in collection pages to help your visitors narrow in on the specific product they're looking for and find products they might be interested in based on certain features (e.g. size, color, category)

I just had a look at your store, your store looks great. I have a few suggestions for you. I hope they might help you.


  • I have found that there is no favicon to your website, favicon helps your customers to navigate to your website tab while they open many tabs on the same browser and it looks professional if you have a favicon. 
  • Add a live chat so that if a customer has any questions they can easily contact you.
  • There is no review option, try adding that feature, social reviews helps you a lot in bringing sales. 
  • There are no trust badges at your checkout page, try adding them as trust badges help your customers know that your site is safe to shop. 
  • Also, try adding SEO related high search keywords in your title and product description so that it will be very easy to market your products and display them at the top in google search.
  • Try adding some sale offers to your products to attract customers.
  • Add a blog page, blog page helps you to share more about your website and products which increases your site visibility.
