So I started this page just about 1 week ago today and I've just recently hit over 1k visitors and I'm unsure as to why I'm not getting my first sale. I've done the research, I made sure that a market exists for the products I'm selling. But I just can't seem to get that first one!
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
It may be that I'm failing at the marketing side of things, and my visitors just aren't the type to turn into customers. I'm coming from a science related field and so I'm still in the developmental stages when it comes to running my own store. So maybe this is just a learning curve.
Also, when you load up my webpage, you'll see at the top that, it experiences some type of lag, but I have 0 idea of what's causing it after about 2 hours of messing with the code.
Hi there - your store looks great - I especially loved the lens coffee cup :) If your conversion is low, make sure to re-target your audience, or work on getting more organic, focused and relevant traffic. Website design is not always to blame if the conversion is low, it's more often the quality / relevancy of the incoming traffic.
For example, if you have 1000 visitors who are just browsing, your conversion will still be '0'. However, if you were to get 10 visitors who you know are actively looking to purchase more coffee accessories or coffee related gifts, you might get 2 sales, which means your conversion will be much higher. Aim for the quality, not the quantity when it comes to traffic.
