I am yet to launch my store, Providing you guys with a sneak peek. I would welcome if someone can tell me the must have apps and the other things I can do to improve.

Hello,

 

I just had look into your website. I observed few points on your website, I hope those are helpful for your website.

-> You can increase your niche.
-> I see one of your item in view page, item contains only specifications you can add the description of items, An elegantly composed item description clarifies the advantages of the item and persuades the customer that they need the item as well as need it. Your item description is the one you need to catch their eye to in light of the fact that it can without much of a stretch pull in them and influence them to put in a request.
-> I suggest you can add your store blog. Blog gives you the chance to make important substance for your clients. Utilize this as a promoting strategy to manage movement back to your site. Blog make better Your Website's SEO , Increase Traffic to Your Website through inbound links.
-> Have you created your store Instagram page? I am unable to find it. I mean you can add your website Instagram page. And your Facebook page not found. And I suggest you can regularly promote your products through social media pages, It helps for increasing of your conversions.

Hey Jewels Lane Co,

The search landing page is disabled. Apart from it, "New Arrivals" are a must in the main menu for keeping customers informed regarding the latest store trends and fashion. Other keen observations regarding store improvement are as follows:

  1. All footer links should be vertically arranged for better placement and alignment.
  2. For better customer centricity, social links like Facebook. Instagram etc are a must in the site footer.
  3. The newsletter should be shifted to the footer instead as it occupies a lot of space.
  4. Footer links should be placed to the left, newsletter to the right while the social links should be placed below them.
  5. Utilize the newsletter space for adding Instagram images suitable for better brand promotion.
  6. "About Us" section is missing in the footer which is very important for better site familiarity.
  7. You can also install one of the most popular app Growwave which is all in one marketing platform that helps store owners increase conversions with ease.
  8. Finally, I would also recommend replacing the default search with an advanced search like Sparq which allows synonyms, advanced custom tag filters, spelling correction, and other such features. Visitors with search are high intent users and their conversion rate is higher than normal users.

You have also gotten some great feedback already and I will add to it for you to consider adding to your store.

 

  • Having an about us page is very beneficial to your store, and can tell more of a story about your business. Telling your story is important, and it will keep customers coming back to your brand. I will share this guide with you on how you could expand your story, putting more information in this can prove to be very successful for your store. That is an excellent guide about the power of an about us page.

 

  • Another option you could use to build your store is by having a blog. Blogs are a great way to keep your customers engaged and encourages them to come back to view more content and newer products. Here is an awesome resource for Blogs.

 

  • Another way to boost your store's performance is through the power of social media. Do you have a Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram account? Using these platforms can catapult your store's reach in terms of customers and views. I have a great video below that shows you how to add these to your theme within your Shopify admin.

Hey @amadeus96 

 

You did a great job with the logo and the name of the brand. It is not too long and quite catchy. 

You are definitely on the right path, you do have a taste and talent in creating selling sites. There are  a couple of moments I would switch and add to make sure you do not splurge on ads and get no sales (that happens a lot)

 

-Implement an opportunity to log in and sign up using Social Media account. We all have accounts at least in one social media. And if I have an opportunity to create an account just with one click, I will do it. having an easier way to Sign in will help you gather customer base. The most valuable thing for a company is the customers:)  

 

-The sale you have seems to be a nice deal, however, when you make such a big amount off it might devalue your product. People always need to know why you have made such sales, is it a seasonal sale? or is it because there is no demand on it? does that mean the product is bad? 

Instead of giving discount for nothing, give them as rewards for completing certain actions on your store ex. for creating accounts, for leaving a review, for sharing your site, for spending money on your site. It is not difficult for a user to do and you will get so many actions on your site, and you are having discounts anyway. 

 

I recommend using Growave for that.  It offers Social Login, Reviews, Rewards, Instagram and 6 more essential tools for marketing all in one. 

 

As for design, I suggest using same pixel images for products. On the collection page the products look a little messy because the images are all different. 

The color of the logo suits your brand a lot, however, you mostly used red on your site. Why not stick to the brand color? It will make the site look even neater and feminine.

Your store looks great. You should start using a loyalty program to entice your customers. It will help you build a loyal customer base. You can give loyalty points to your customers on activities like signing up, allowing for web push notifications, make a purchase, visiting a store and many more.

This will help in doubling the sales as when you give loyalty points to your customers they will come again on your store to make a purchase in order to redeem those points. You can give rewards to your customers to redeem those points.

Add a referral program. Referral marketing is a cost-effective way to gain new and loyal customers. Because people are social creatures, individuals that are referred to your company are much more likely to remain loyal customers.

 

Must have app is AiTrillion.com. It is an all in one Shopify app. You don't need to install multiple apps. It eliminates using multiple apps. As, installing multiple apps may hinder the speed of the store. It has many features from basic to advance in a single app and is a fully integrated app. You can check it out.

I did visit your store and you have great products.

Adding to @appfreaker_com comments, I suggest you submit your store content to major search engines such as Google and Bing to get your pages found. 

Getting your pages found by Google, Bing and other major search engines will be beneficial to you in terms of generating sales from organic searches. 

 

You can submit your sitemap regularly to these major engines, or consider using a convenient tool like flare that offers many other major benefits.

I have gone through your site. Though it looks good, there are quite a few things missing on your store which if added can really make a lot of difference to the user experience, conversion rate and your overall sales.

 

Logo & Favicon :

Logo & Favicon -- Your logo should highlight your brand name. Add a favourite icon so users can locate your webpage easily.

 

HEADER & FOOTER :

  1. Header -- Have a sticky header and a clear smart search bar to help users locate the products they're looking for.Also a slide out cart, a cart icon with item calculator must have features. Login icon must be there for buyer account creation before purchasing.
  2. Footer -- Optimize your footer with more professional and functional look and also highlight your newsletter sign up so people who follow your brand will receive more updates about promotions and sales. There are legal policy pages which are missing in the footer that must be included for authenticity and security purpose

 

HOMEPAGE :

A lot can be done to your homepage to make it more informative & attractive.

  1. Banners & Branding -- Add hero banner with prompt CTA buttons that syncs well with your store theme & branding. This banner should include info like free shipping, offers/deals like 50% off, etc
  2. Color, Font & Branding -- Over All Text, Font , Paragraph , Alignment , Spacing , Padding etc should be more elegant so that your store looks well-organized, neat and visually appealing. Maintain the same or similar colors and fonts throughout your store to keep your  branding intact 
  3. Featured Collection -- Add all the top featured collection on the homepage so users know the type of products you're selling on your store.
  4. Featured / Bestseller products -- Engage your customers by letting them know the bestseller products on your store                                     
  5. Testimonials -- They add to the trust factor as when customers see what other buyers have to say about your products, it makes them more sure about your brand.
  6. Highlight your USP -- What's unique about your brand that none of the other Shopify merchants have? This needs to be highlighted in your store presentation, features & more.
  7. Trust Badge on Home Page -- This is important as this helps to build trust and assures your customers that your brand is authentic

 

COLLECTION PAGE :

Your customer views this page to have an in-depth view of the products and services you offer.

  1. Banner adding on Collection page -- Make your collection page stand out with interesting & creative collection banners
  2. Product filter for easy navigation -- Categorize & filter products by their size, color or type so users find product to product navigation easy.
  3. Product Label -- Product labels like % off, ‘New Arrival’, ‘Sold Out’ must be there must be there for the ease of the buyer
  4. Product Showcasing -- Clear product title and description , high quality images , reviews , related products , color swatch function, grey effect for sold out products , product labels . All these features make your store much more convenient, authentic, easy to use and user friendly.
