Hello,

I've had 600 views and no organic sales, only 3 family sales. Can someone critique my website and tell me things to improve, mainly the plusses and deltas?

Website: 3dvaseshop.co

Thanks,

OMG your products are so beautiful!

IMPO, it will take off with a little of time and advertising. 600 ppl traffic is not too high, remember, even FB pixel is looking for 750+ visitors. I would put it up on Etsy as well. Ive gotten as many Etsy sales as my Shopify organic sales.

You have done everything right - every piece is there. Your website and products are great - hang on there!

Sincerely,

Tatyana

Hey 3dvaseshop,

The logo looks really great, exactly in synchronization with your store theme. But, some improvements can be made like the following mentioned below:

  1. The excessive white space above the central carousel looks awkward. Kindly increase the length of the central banner to cover the unwanted gap.
  2. Seperate sales section should be created for all discounted items.
  3. Customer reviews should be added below each product to improve customer choice.
  4. Blogs should be added in a seperate blog section to make the site more informative.
  5.  You can also install one of the most popular app Growwave which is all in one marketing platform that helps store owners increase conversions with ease.
  6. Finally, I would also recommend replacing the default search with an advanced search like Sparq which allows synonyms, advanced custom tag filters, spelling correction, and other such features. Visitors with search are high intent users and their conversion rate is higher than normal users.
Check out the features live here.

Hope your store starts getting lots of sales and conversions very soon.

Neha;)

The biggest problem with new sites, is a lack of variety/quantity of products.  Your products are nice, but you'll need more of them.  One nitpick:  There's still some default template text sprinkled throughout the site, def clean that up!  Good luck!

Hi Hunter

Even with a good CTR or tons of traffic, if people are not buying then it's not the right traffic. Not all traffic is created equal. The one thing we tell each client is that you can get traffic of all kinds but that does not mean it's the right traffic for your store. SEO takes time and does not happen over night. You need to keep working at making your store better over time. Here are some ways to make your store even better and make people want to purchase.

Homepage Feedback

    1. Carousels have been proven to kills conversions rates ...limit how much you use the one on your site. No one is going to wait around to see what is on each sliders

    2. I would clean up the design of your homepage and site be removing default text and making sure your own unique text is replacing the default text. This may seem like a small thing but customers notice it and may not buy because of it

    3. I would consider just having one collection page featuring all your product since you don't have tons of product on the site right now

    4. Consider making the product images bigger on your collection pages, so your product stands out and is easier to see.

    5. Consider adding a Featured Product section on the homepage (i.e. Vase Of The Month). Pick one products and tell people why you picked it and what makes it great

Product Page  Feedback

    1. Add a section for customer reviews when you get them. This helps build social proof and makes it easier for people to trust your brand. Ask past customers for reviews is a great way to get this started

    2. Make sure all your product images are the same size and dimensions and the same style/brand. This is going to help tie your site together

Your store just needs some tweaks to take it up a level. It's a good start but some change above will make your site stand out even more. Hope you found this helpful, if so please click "like" below to let me know.

Hi @MrKlean__

I love your website and your biodegradable home decor is so needed and such a great solution! It is also very beautiful as well. I wanted to check in and see how everything was going with sales and conversions on your website?  I talk to alot of new merchants who have challenges with increasing conversions, reducing shopping cart abandonment and increasing average order value. One recommendation I would have is adding alternative payment methods such as a buy now, pay later option. I work for Klarna and about 90% of retailers are looking into installment options because about 67% of millennials don't have credit cards and often add items to their cart but abandon them. This installment option allows the customer to pay 25% at time of purchase and then spreads the remaining payments out over time with no interest. We are seeing after offering this option on the website that our retailers are seeing an increase of 25% in reduction in shopping cart abandonments and increased conversions by 44%. We also pay you in full upfront and manage all the risks of any chargebacks or fraud.  Here is a little more information about Klarna and we easily integrate with Shopify so you can get started today. There is also no setup, annual or monthly fee to get started as well.

Hope this is helpful!
