Hi Leah

Great start to your store so far. There are some ways to make it better and help people convert. We work with 3 kids brands right now ...our feedback is based on this experience.

Homepage Feedback

      1. I would clean up the design of your homepage as it's disorganized right now. It just features tons of product photos but not much about who you are or what your brand stands for. I would also reorganize the layout and not have an email capture form in the middle of the homepage

      2. Your product images need the more work as the style is all over the place and there is no consistent ascetic

      3. Make sure the main product images for each product has the same theme / style as some have white vs non-white background right now. This is going to help tie your site together when people are looking at your collection pages

      4. If you are going to have a product on your homepage. Make it a Featured Product type section as it makes it look like something planned. This romper needs a section title and why you picked this product to feature

Product Page  Feedback

      1. Add links to your shipping and return/refund policy on each product page

      2. Make a sizing chart page and link to it from your product pages and in the footer. This will clean up your page and make it look more professional

      3. Add a longer product description as this is how you convince someone to buy on your site. Plus it helps with SEO and ranking in organic search

      4. Add a section for customer reviews when you get them. This helps build social proof and makes it easier for people to trust your brand. Ask past customers for reviews is a great way to get this started

Your store just needs some tweaks to take it up a level.  Hope you found this helpful, if so please click "like" below to let me know. You can also accept this post as a "Accepted Solutions" if you found it extra helpful! Good luck.

Hi @Leah13 !

Welcome to Shopify and congrats on your store!

I really like your logo, it is very suitable for your kids store. I like your product images, it is super cute.

1. Your homepage is lack of clear CTAs.  Clear CTAs - help to show what to do next. Hero banner on your homepage is a key to make a connection with every visitor. You should clearly communicate what your website is about.

2. The items in your store are more on an expensive side, therefore I recommend giving back to your customers by rewarding them with free shipping, discounts, and other goodies for spending a certain amount of money on your site. That way,  letting your customers know that you care about them.

3. The items on your store are something that will most likely be purchased by one person several times. For better customer retention I recommend using Rewards program by Growave, that will give out various discounts depending on how much a person has spent on your store or how many actions he/she has completed (left a review, shared the site, created an account, etc.)

4. Implement an opportunity to log in and sign up using Social Media account. We all have accounts at least in one social media. And if I have an opportunity to create an account just with one click, I will do it. having an easier way to Sign in will help you gather customer base. The most valuable thing for a company is the customer.

5. Social media has become a huge thing nowadays. I highly recommend taking advantage of that and adding Instagram galleries on your homepage. It will help drive traffic from your site on to your account and vice versa.

6. Imagine if you saw something that you quite like in the store, however you want to browse more, get more options, and then choose the best one. That often happens to me, because I am indecisive. That is when Wishlist comes in handy. Since you have a lot of products on your site, I recommend adding that feature to improve the user experience on your site. Besides, if the items on the wishlist have not been purchased, automated emails will be sent out as a reminder.

7. 90% of people read reviews before purchasing an item. I personally do not read the description too much, I go straight on to the reviews section because that is social proof. In my opinion that is essential for every site. I highly recommend (almost insist) and adding that feature on your site. You can use Growave for that, it offers automated emails within the Reviews feature as well.

For adding the functions above you can several apps. However, if you want to get all of them at once just with a couple of clicks, try  Growave.
