Hello I opened my store about 3 weeks ago and I had about 4 sales. But lately I have been getting pretty good traffic after paying for google ads. Those clicks aren't converting into sales. Great job! The store looks amazing.
What kind of traffic converted before? I did not complete a purchase but did notice you mention free shipping on all orders but at the same time I was getting something like “shipping calculated at checkout”. That is confusing and I am assuming you are offering free shipping in the US and shipping fees internationally however a store visitor may not get it.

Other than that it’s hard to ascertain additional ideas without knowing what the new traffic looks like, cart abandonment, #of sessions, exit page.

Okay that makes feel much better that the store itself looks good. The previous sales I got were from family friends at what not. But I haven't had any organic sales as far as I think. I have had about 714 sessions the past week. 16 of those are abandoned carts. I have a 0% conversion rate. I'm new at this but I am willing to keep at it as I see progress. But I feel like something is wrong that none of my visitors are converting to actual sales.

It’s still early and the jury is out. 714 sessions is not a lot of traffic don’t panic. 16 abandoned carts is not a bad sign.

Here’s what I got from your store when I visited it, great watch designs at super affordable prices that would make anyone look trendy, classy. However the store itself didn’t convey the message clearly. At first I thought maybe cuff links or dress shirts, suits?

The banner image and welcome message together are the gateway to the store and they must be clear and inviting.

You need to get traffic based on that premise, meaning your ads must attract that kind of interest,

The home page message and banner are the invitation to browse if you’ve driven traffic with a coherent welcome via the banner and message then the mindset is already ser, people will browse the products knowing and expecting to uncover great watch finds at unbeatable prices.

"The first impression is the last one". So, the overall site look is all what matters when it comes to the conversion of visitors to customers. So, I have some suggestions for your store modification. Few of them are mentioned below as follows: 

  1. Apart from Facebook, add Instagram, Twitter and Linked-in for a better customer association.
  2. "Search" need not be a part of the main menu when it is already included in the top right of the header and the footer as well.
  3. "New Arrivals" are a must for depicting the latest store trends and product designs on the homepage.
  4. "About Me" is quite basic. Adding a detailed description alongwith some images can help in better site familiarity.
  5. "Contact us" section crucial for better customer interaction is missing. It must include a contact form as well.
  6. You should add terms and conditions and FAQ’s if any, again these also help in building search engine content. 
  7. Testimonials tend to strengthen customer trust and belief.
  8. For effective brand promotion, Instagram images should be added to the site footer.
  9. To improve customer decisiveness, product reviews should be added below each item.
  10. Keeping all the discounted products in a single stock is possible only if you add the "Sale" section to the main menu.

Hi,  

I have gone through your site. Though it looks good, there are quite a few things missing on your store which if added can really make a lot of difference to the user experience, conversion rate and your overall sales.

 

Logo & Favicon :

Logo & Favicon -- Your logo should highlight your brand name. Add a favourite icon so users can locate your webpage easily.

 

HEADER & FOOTER :

  1. Header -- Have a sticky header and a clear smart search bar to help users locate the products they're looking for.Also a slide out cart, a cart icon with item calculator must have features. Login icon must be there for buyer account creation before purchasing.
  2. Footer -- Optimize your footer with more professional and functional look and also highlight your newsletter sign up so people who follow your brand will receive more updates about promotions and sales. There are legal policy pages which are missing in the footer that must be included for authenticity and security purpose

 

HOMEPAGE :

A lot can be done to your homepage to make it more informative & attractive.

  1. Banners & Branding -- Add hero banner with prompt CTA buttons that syncs well with your store theme & branding. This banner should include info like free shipping, offers/deals like 50% off, etc
  2. Color, Font & Branding -- Over All Text, Font , Paragraph , Alignment , Spacing , Padding etc should be more elegant so that your store looks well-organized, neat and visually appealing. Maintain the same or similar colors and fonts throughout your store to keep your  branding intact 
  3. Featured Collection -- Add all the top featured collection on the homepage so users know the type of products you're selling on your store.
  4. Featured / Bestseller products -- Engage your customers by letting them know the bestseller products on your store                                     
  5. Testimonials -- They add to the trust factor as when customers see what other buyers have to say about your products, it makes them more sure about your brand.
  6. Highlight your USP -- What's unique about your brand that none of the other Shopify merchants have? This needs to be highlighted in your store presentation, features & more.
  7. Trust Badge on Home Page -- This is important as this helps to build trust and assures your customers that your brand is authentic

 

COLLECTION PAGE :

Your customer views this page to have an in-depth view of the products and services you offer.

  1. Banner adding on Collection page -- Make your collection page stand out with interesting & creative collection banners
