Hello friends, could you please review my website and suggest me what improvements my website needs to increase conversion rate?

Conversion rate is around 2% and abandoned carts conversion rate is around 7%.

Conversion rate of ~2% is already decent, but I can see room for improvement already. First of all this is guess work and a lot of the other posters that will come on here will also provide their opinion of what works best. 

Just looking on it from the desktop perspective. I can see

  • The main banner image is blurry
  • Some of the product images are also a little bit blurry. You really want crisp clean images to increase customer trust.
  • These images look like they are cut off

  • Personally I'm not of the pricing layout, but I think it is okay.

There's a lot of the process we can't see.

My advice is to start tracking your data and then make the changes and see if it impacts your metrics. You need to look at it from different perspectives not just conversion rate, but bounce rate, time on page, cart abandonment rate, and product detail view rate at the minimum to understand what can be improved. We also do video replays, so you will be able to collect replay videos of your customers, journey through your website to know who, why, where your customers are dropping off. Time to stop doing guess work.

  1. Clear CTAs - help to show what to do next. Hero banner on your homepage is a key to make a connection with every visitor. You should clearly communicate what your website is about.
  2. Branding - clearly show your company branding. Logo, brand colors, brand fonts - should be the same across websites, emails, and social profiles. A key part of building your brand is making it recognizable. 
  3. Social proof - an incredibly powerful sales and lead generation tool. 
  4. Engaging images - you need them on your homepage to give visitors a sense of what your business is about. Images help you to tell a story and show visitors what they can gain from your product. For a product website think about how images can convey the value of your product and help your visitors to achieve their goals.
  5. If your website is credible, you’ll be able to generate more site traffic.

    One of the best ways to gain credibility is to leverage your relationships with influencers. You can approach this tactic in many different ways.

    If you have the means, you can use celebrities to promote your brand.

    That’s because these people are already known and trusted. Working with a celebrity shows your brand is legitimate. The problem is it’s obvious to consumers these celebrities are getting paid to pitch your products or services. As an alternative solution, you can use micro-influencers. One of the top reasons why I’m an advocate for using micro-influencers is because they have high engagement rates with their followers.

  6. Try adding SEO related high search keywords in your title and product description so that it will be very easy to market your products and display them at the top in google search.
  7. If your website doesn’t have a blog already, make creating one a priority. But if you have a blog, it gives people a reason to keep coming back. Blogs also help improve your SEO because you’re constantly adding new content to your page.
  8. 90% of people read reviews before purchasing an item. I personally do not read the description too much, I go straight on to the reviews section because that is social proof. In my opinion that is essential for every site. I highly recommend (almost insist) and adding that feature on your site. You can use Growave for that, it offers automated emails within the Reviews feature as well.
  9. Imagine if you saw something that you quite like in the store, however you want to browse more, get more options, and then choose the best one. That often happens to me, because I am indecisive. That is when Wishlist comes in handy. Since you have a lot of products on your site, I recommend adding that feature to improve the user experience on your site. Besides, if the items on the wishlist have not been purchased, automated emails will be sent out as a reminder.
  10. Social media has become a huge thing nowadays. I highly recommend taking advantage of that and adding Instagram galleries on your homepage. It will help drive traffic from your site on to your account and vice versa.

  11. The items in your store are something that every person will need in their lives. Therefore, I recommend using a Referral program by Growave to give your customers an opportunity of sharing your products with friends and getting rewarded for that.
  12. The items on your store are something that will most likely be purchased by one person several times. For better customer retention I recommend using Rewards program by Growave, that will give out various discounts depending on how much a person has spent on your store or how many actions he/she has completed (left a review, shared the site, created an account, etc.)
  13. The sale you have seems to be a nice deal, however, when you make such a big amount off it might devalue your product. People always need to know why you have made such sales, is it a seasonal sale? or is it because there is no demand for it? Does that mean the product is bad? 

    Instead of giving a discount for nothing, give them rewards for completing certain actions on your store ex. for creating accounts, for leaving a review, for sharing your site, for spending money on your site. It is not difficult for a user to do and you will get so many actions on your site, and you are having discounts anyway.

I've taken a look at your store and found there are quite a few things which if added can make better conversions.

1. Make the first letter capital of each word in the header menu. Example: Change Skin care to Skin Care.
2. Add product reviews as most of the customers read the review before purchasing the product.
3. Add Contact Us page for better customer interaction.
4. A FAQ would be useful!
5. Try to maintain the same image size while listing all products. 
6. Discounts and limited-time offers will help to increase sales.
7. Add About Us page which is a reflection of the purpose and personality of the business.
8. Add more specific product title/url in product pages.
Creating the perfect SEO product title/url can help the search engine understand exactly what it is you are selling and drive more traffic to your site. So try to keep the product title/url unique and more specific.
9. Add filters in collection pages to help your visitors narrow in on the specific product they're looking for and find products they might be interested in based on certain features (e.g. size, color, category)

Hey there @Shopey ! Your store seems to be fine.. here is what I'd like to recommend - 

1. This image is not clearly visible. and when it's about pharmaceuticals, you cannot compromise on the quality of images!

2. When you have too many brands to offer, you should probably have a slider option! Your menu goes on and on! You need to do something about it.

3. Are you also welcoming product reviews? I don't see them in product pages though! 

The rest of the things seems to be fine. I hope you have figured out sales funnel?

Hi @Mihir_Gupta_ ,

Thank you so much for your feedback. I will change the slideshow picture. Menu has slider option on the mobile but not on desktop, and I have experienced that mostly my traffic comes from mobile and iPad, so I think I can skip this part. Thirdly, thanks for suggesting to add product reviews, I will do that.

I just had a look at your store, your store looks great. I have a few suggestions for you. I hope they might help you.

 

  • There is no review option, try adding that feature, social reviews helps you a lot in bringing sales. 
  • There are no trust badges at your checkout page, try adding them as trust badges help your customers know that your site is safe to shop. 
  • Try adding SEO related high search keywords in your title and product description so that it will be very easy to market your products and display them at the top in google search.
  • Add a blog page, blog page helps you to share more about your website and products which increases your site visibility.

That store looks good. I noticed all your products are indexed by google. You must not be an American based business.
