Feedback on my store

Hello,

I have done everything I can think of:

  • Store Design
  • Asked for my store to be reviewed
  • Comparable or Lower than market Prices
  • A combination of popular brands and independents
  • Ads on Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest

Would you be so kind to look at my store Ellashe and critically review. Shopify analytics state that my traffic is in the top 19% of stores started at the same time and I am getting traffic from the US and Europe.

Would appreciate all the assistance I can get.

Your store is ok but there is a lot I would change if you want people to trust your store and buy something. Here are some ways to make your store even better and make people want to purchase.

Homepage Feedback

      1. Make sure the main product images for each product has the same theme / style as some have white vs non-white background right now. This is going to help tie your site together when people are looking at your collection pages

      2. Your FAQ link goes to a 404 error page that show it as not working

      3. I would clean up the design of your homepage as I got 3 popups in one minute of being on your homepage. This is not a great experience as I don't even have time to look around your store yet

      4. I would move product off your homepage and focus on using the homepage to tell your brand story and who you are. Make your homepage inviting to have people check out what you sell

      5. The sub-category list under "Shop" is to long. You need to organize SKUs in a way that cuts down this list by 80%. Some categories I saw had only one product

      6. If you are going to have a product on your homepage. Make it a Featured Product type section as it makes it look like something planned. Pick just one product, add a section title and tell people why you picked this product to feature. What makes it special and why they should buy it

Product Page  Feedback

      1. Make sure each product has 3 - 5 images as that will help someone decide if they want to purchase. A lot of products I saw only had 1 or 2 images

      2. Add a longer product description as this is how you convince someone to buy on your site. Plus it helps with SEO and ranking in organic search

      3. Make sure all your product images are the same size and dimensions and the same style/brand. This is going to help tie your site together

      4. Add a section at the bottom of product pages to show your most viewed/bought items from the site. This can help increase your average order value

Your store just needs some tweaks to take it up a level. Hope you found this helpful, if so please click "like" below to let me know.

Hi @Ellashe ,

I've taken a look at your store. Nice products! I've some suggestions to increase the conversion rate.

1. Add a Home page link to the main menu.

2. Product images in the collection and product page are looking bigger. Decreasing the image size a little bit will look better.

3. Add more product images in product pages.

4. Add product reviews as most of the customers read the review before purchasing the product.

5. Add Contact Us page for better customer interaction.

6. FAQ page is redirecting to 404 error page.

7. You can add testimonials on the home page to make the store look more professional.

8. "TRACK ORDERS" page seems to be an empty page without any form.

9. Discounts and limited-time offers will help to increase sales.

I also did a flare check on your site. You have only 317 results indexed by Google. But your website has 355+ pages. Everyone knows search is the most effective way to acquire customers and drive traffic. Natural search draws way more traffic than Social media. To appear in search results though, Google has to first find your website content. It used to take years to get your content found by Google and major search engines. You can submit your store content regularly to all the major engines, or consider using a convenient tool like flare by Mansion Ecommerce. flare automatically detects site changes and verifiably informs major search engines like Google & Bing. Plus! only flare can submit individual URLs to Google & Bing, allowing your prioritized pages to be indexed first and fast.

Hope this was helpful!

Hello @Ellashe, Now your store looks great but I would recommend you to display some best brands on the homepage that you are selling. This will have an impact on your customers to make a purchase. You have great products and brands. Display brands too. You can display BEST SELLERS, OUR TOP BRANDS.

You should increase the engagement on your store. Start using a loyalty program to entice your customers. It will help you build a loyal customer base. You can give loyalty points to your customers on activities like signing up, allowing for web push notifications, make a purchase, visiting a store and many more.

This will help in doubling the sales as when you give loyalty points to your customers they will come again on your store to make a purchase in order to redeem those points. You can give rewards to your customers to redeem those points.

You can install AiTrillion.com. It's best for the loyalty and reward program. It's an all in one Shopify app and is fully integrated. Its loyalty program is integrated with reviews, email, web push notifications. Plus you don't need to install multiple apps.

With the help of the Aitrillion Loyalty Reward program, you can give loyalty points to your customers on different activities like signing up, visiting a store, making a purchase, allowing for push notifications.

Dear Ellashe,

Congratulation for your store.

I’ve gone through your store and found that there are quite a few things missing on your store which if added can really make a lot of difference to the user experience, conversion rate and your overall sales. Here is a page-by-page/sectional review of your site:

Store Loading Speed -- Store loading speed is very poor for mobile, need to improve speed immediately.

Header/Footer --

Customize your header and footer with specific functionalities. Your header should offer a smart toggle search bar where people can type in the products they’re looking for as well as go for sticky header.

Also, create a slide out cart, a cart icon with item calculator.

Home Page --

A lot can be done to your homepage to make it more informative & attractive. Add prompt CTA buttons with a hero banner that syncs well with your store theme & branding. This banner should include info like free shipping, offers/deals like 50% off, etc. Below the hero banner, create categories for all your products in a slider that engages customers.

Your Unique value proposition should be highlighted on your homepage. Add testimonial carousels, announcement bars, product slideshows and make your homepage SEO friendly to increase your site traffic and conversions.

Collection Page --

Your customer views this page to have an in-depth view of the products and services you offer.

Make sure this page has a creative banner to enhance the visual appeal of your store, product reviews of all the products in your store, infinite scrolling to increase page views. announcement bars for highlighting promotions, events, deals and product labels like % off, ‘New Arrival’, ‘Sold Out’, etc.

Product Page --

Add interactive and user-friendly features like custom swatches, product zoom in, product reviews, unique product titles/descriptions, cart drawer and a sticky cart with a sticky add to cart and buy now button.

I’d suggest you to try our all-in-one app, Cart2Sale  that also includes the Sticky Cart feature where your customers can easily see the total number of items in their cart right on the product page. This improves user experience as they don’t have to go back and forth from the product to the cart page and vice versa.

Cart Page --

Maybe offering gift wrapping on your cart page, allowing your customers to choose their preferred delivery date and time, include security trust badges and add notes like special delivery and packaging instructions can make them trust and love your brand way more.

This page is the final step before your customers check out from your store so it should be as impressive as any other page on your store.

Integrations on your store --

How do you plan to monitor your site performance and track conversions?

Simply set up and integrate Google Analytics and Google Search Console with your store and get to know who is visiting your store, their demographics, which of your Facebook page viewer converts into your buyer and your store’s ranking, impressions & clicks  on Google.

Besides these tracking methods, make sure the following is included on your store:

  1. Include live chat option that is visible on every page of your store to keep your customers happy and retain them.
  2. There needs to be a strong colour coordination among all the colours used on your store. Try to use the same or similar colours used in your logo throughout your store and in the social media business page banner or cover picture you create.
  3. Create a sense of urgency with countdown timer, ‘only 1 left’ features  and promotional banners highlighting ‘sale expiry’.
  4. Ensure your store speed is optimized. You can do this by checking your google page speed score. Minify codes that are redundant or apps that are slowing down the site speed.  Make your site mobile-friendly.
  5. Optimize your user experience with easy navigation, proper spacing, alignment, font and colour coordination.
  6. Optimize your menu and use silo structure.
  7. Need to do some basic seo.

If you need help please contact us.
