Hello! I set up my Shopify store in mid-April. So far, only 1 sales transaction for my store despite the posting in Facebook and Instagram. Hope to receive feedback on how to get more traffic and sales. Thank you.
Hello @Ixagon ,
I just had a look at your store, your store looks great. I have a few suggestions for you, hope they might help you.
I hope our feedback helps you.
Congratulations on your store page! It's quite well done. i like the minimal theme that you have selected because it keeps the focus on the products themselves. Most things on the store have been done right. I saw a couple of things that could be made better though, so I thought I'd share them with you.
Do let me know if this is useful for you.
Hope to hear from you soon! Till then, good luck and do stay safe!
I agree with the other posters here to fix some of those issues. But right now we can only point out things we see.
There's a lot of the process we can't see.
My advice is to start tracking your data and then make the changes and see if it impacts your metrics. You need to look at it from different perspectives not just conversion rate, but bounce rate, time on page, cart abandonment rate, and product detail view rate at the minimum to understand what can be improved. We could look at where the traffic comes from and why.
If you would like, I can provide a free analytics consultation which involves:
If you are interested just send me your email in a private message and we can work together more efficiently via email.
If you have any questions, I'm open to being fully transparent. I'm really just looking for some positive reviews for my app.
Hey The Goodster,

All the best!
Hyde here from Shopify. Congratulations on starting a new store! It looks fantastic.
My first bit of advice would be to place your mission statement, your raise d'etre, your purpose for being, at the very start of your homepage. Why? Well, because customers have very short attention spans and will want to know within the first few seconds of visiting your store why it is that they should stay.
if they're visiting from a mobile (as they more often than not are) then there is nothing to really indicate what this store is about:
You may wish to consider an "About Us" for your store to encourage trust from your customers!
Here's what an About Us page should contain and here's how to create one!
Content is KING because Content indicates your personality. Customers want to feel like they're engaging with a real person.
Here are resources for considering your customer's journey through your store, from the moment they land to the moment they (hopefully) make a purchase:
- 3 strategies for improving user experience
- eCommerce - UX
- 11 ways to step up your content marketing game
- Marketing to millennials
So you'll want to create original and innovative content to capture your customer. Two ways to do this are:
- Create blogs this is super important and here's why
- Add a video to your store - people respond to moving images and this is why it's important.
I hope this all helps, let me know if you have any other questions!
All the best, Hyde.
