Hi Guys, 


Just wondering whether I could have some feedback on my store and any changes you think I might need to be able to make? Conversions are quite on the low end at the moment. Have been using google shopping ads and spent around £600 getting 6 sales equalling around £250 profit. So around £350 down since launching at the end of December. My store is a high ticket item store selling wine coolers and accessories.

Hi, i think the store is great, very informative as well, all products have a lot of information so I would feel comfortable buying a product online.


I think what you have is most likely an issue with the marketing/customer contact itself. As you said, your products are high ticket, so your customers are probably thinking twice if buying or not and some will like to have a direct contact. You have tidio already integrated, but will probably still need to be even more proactive, maybe having a call you back service. Also email marketing based on user interaction would be great for your store.


To get traffic for products that are expensive, is expensive as well, so you will need to make sure, that the money you spent is well spent and translate it in money, although it might convert in weeks or even months. Luckily this can be automated and we could help you with that too! ;)

We work with a few high end brands, on both sides of the pond, and have found that Google Shopping is not the best for higher ticket items. I would recommend you stick with search campaigns, dynamics search ads and remarketing for your Google ads account.


Those should give you the best bang for your pound and make you profitable. The traffic does not have to be expensive if you know what keywords to use and how to setup your account. We see clients get £7+ back for each £1 they invest into Google Ads across Europe and the UK. If you do anything with shopping, maybe setup a shopping remarketing campaign as well. I use to live in London and now that I'm back home in Canada, miss it all the time. Here is what I think would help improve your store.


Homepage Feedback

    1. I would clean up the design of your homepage as the images below your Collection List section are all different shape. Made these all the same size and shape to make your store look more professional and consistent. It is really the small details that take a store from good to great. 

    2. Your image at the top of the homepage is a bit blurry and could use a refresh. Find another image that is a bit more centred and does not. have any white space at the far right of it... I know the white space is part of the image but it looks awkward.

    3. Carousels /sliders have been proven to kills conversions rates ...limit how much you use the one on your site. No one is going to wait around to see what is on each sliders. I would make your Featured Product section have just 4 products and not use a slider at all.

    4. Your contact form has no board around it... it bleeds into the page and disappears. I would add a black box around each form filed to make it standout

Product Page  Feedback

    1. Make sure each product has 3 - 5 images as that will help someone decide if they want to purchase. Some products I saw only had 1 or 2 images

    2. Your related products and customer reviews section get buried at the bottom of your product pages. I would consider thinking about how you layout the page and where you place different pieces of information. Do some research and see how your competitor layout their product pages. 

    3. Add a longer product description as this is how you convince someone to buy on your site. Plus it helps with SEO and ranking in organic search, Right now some your product descriptions are pretty small. Not all but some of the product pages I looked at were light on product descriptions.

I have gone through your site. Though it looks good, there are quite a few things missing on your store which if added can really make a lot of difference to the user experience, conversion rate and your overall sales.


Logo & Favicon :

Logo & Favicon -- Your logo should highlight your brand name. Add a favourite icon so users can locate your webpage easily.



  1. Header -- Have a sticky header and a clear smart search bar to help users locate the products they're looking for.Also a slide out cart, a cart icon with item calculator must have features. Login icon must be there for buyer account creation before purchasing.
  2. Footer -- Optimize your footer with more professional and functional look and also highlight your newsletter sign up so people who follow your brand will receive more updates about promotions and sales. There are legal policy pages which are missing in the footer that must be included for authenticity and security purpose



A lot can be done to your homepage to make it more informative & attractive.

  1. Banners & Branding -- Add hero banner with prompt CTA buttons that syncs well with your store theme & branding. This banner should include info like free shipping, offers/deals like 50% off, etc
  2. Color, Font & Branding -- Over All Text, Font , Paragraph , Alignment , Spacing , Padding etc should be more elegant so that your store looks well-organized, neat and visually appealing. Maintain the same or similar colors and fonts throughout your store to keep your  branding intact 
  3. Featured Collection -- Add all the top featured collection on the homepage so users know the type of products you're selling on your store.
  4. Featured / Bestseller products -- Engage your customers by letting them know the bestseller products on your store                                     
  5. Testimonials -- They add to the trust factor as when customers see what other buyers have to say about your products, it makes them more sure about your brand.
  6. Highlight your USP -- What's unique about your brand that none of the other Shopify merchants have? This needs to be highlighted in your store presentation, features & more.
  7. Trust Badge on Home Page -- This is important as this helps to build trust and assures your customers that your brand is authentic



Your customer views this page to have an in-depth view of the products and services you offer.

  1. Banner adding on Collection page -- Make your collection page stand out with interesting & creative collection banners
  2. Product filter for easy navigation -- Categorize & filter products by their size, color or type so users find product to product navigation easy.
  3. Product Label -- Product labels like % off, ‘New Arrival’, ‘Sold Out’ must be there must be there for the ease of the buyer
  4. Product Showcasing -- Clear product title and description , high quality images , reviews , related products , color swatch function, grey effect for sold out products , product labels . All these features make your store much more convenient, authentic, easy to use and user friendly.
