Hey all! I created a website not to long ago, and I would like feedback on my store and what I can improve on to increase conversions. So far I have one buyer, however I want to know how to increase buyers and what will I need to change or add into my website.

Add a favicon to your store.

1. Home page

1.1 Make the search field/ icon prominent

With the current menu (click on the hamburger and then showing the dropdown menu), it's not easy for customers to navigate the menu and the search field. Therefore I recommend that if you want to keep the current menu, you should make the search icon visible.

1.2 Add an announcement bar 

I notice that you have this text "10% OFF our entire site and Free Shipping on all our products! - Use code Launch10" on the banner image, so I recommend you can add it to an announcement bar and make it sticky so customers are always aware of this information.

 On the banner image, you can add a quote or some text to introduce your store.

1.3 Show more product types on the home page

Showing a product details of the Rose Bears is quite good with main information (product title, price, CTA buttons, etc). However, I highly recommend you should show other product types on your home page, not only 1 product.

1.4 Remove the extra blank space

 Having extra blank space on the home page can bring a not good experience for customers because some of them can misunderstand that there's something there.

You can take advantage of these blanks to add other content.

And one thing, if this is me, I won't set up the black color as the background color. I can change to the bright color or on each section, I put different background images.

1.5 Add testimonials 

People love proof, especially when they visit a store and see many good reviews, they will be willing to shop! So you should add testimonials/product reviews to your store. They can be placed for each product or even a review collection on your home page. Check this guide to know more about its benefit and how to make it effective.

1.6 Add social media

You can consider adding your store's social such as Instagram, etc with images. This is a good way to connect you better with your customers and keep them updating.

I recommend you should add social media account with images, for example, Facebook or Instagram feed. 

What helps you to build your store more easily is a page builder. It would be a good choice for you to have attractive and powerful pages quickly and you will have lots more time focusing on marketing strategies, so you can consider checking PageFly.

Hello @Sergen , Hope you are doing well! Your shop looks very neat and organized. A good job is done there. The theme matches your products very well. 

Here are some feedbacks you could consider adding: 

  • Banner

Your banner looks very good and matches your theme and product. Consider, however, adding a Shop Now button to your banner, which will take you directly to the relevant product page.  It is a good idea to have multiple slides on your banner (each should stay for around 5seconds) for each product type and have the CTA buttons for each slide redirect the customer to a different product page. 

  • Sticky headers 

The headings are important to navigate the site. If the headers keep disappearing, it makes it hard to find what the customer is looking for. That is why if you make your headers sticky, the user can see them even if they have scrolled down, which makes the site more user friendly. 

  • Product Images

Because this is an online store and people cannot touch and feel your products before buying them, they rely heavily on product images, which is why the images have to look top-notch. 

The main problem most Shopify store owners have is that they upload raw images of their products. On the website, this makes the product color dull and unappealing. Rule of thumb - never post unprocessed images on your website. Especially for this kind of product, it is a good idea to have multiple images of the product, from multiple angles, so that the customer can have a feel of what they are buying. In case you are looking to make your images sharp and professional, contact CutOutWiz for any image-related solutions. 

  • Product Descriptions

People always don’t know everything about a product beforehand. When they see a product or show interest in a product, they want to know more about the different aspects and specifications of the product. If product descriptions fail to provide people with enough information about the product and fail to create an appeal for the product, the visitors won’t buy the product. So, provide elaborate and appealing product descriptions to every product to increase your sales.

  • Chatbot:

You will be surprised how much you can benefit from a chatbot. It can collect your necessary customer data, help you analyze which stuffs are trending or in more demand, and overall solve your problems by answering common questions so you won't have to.

  • Newsletter

A good idea is to have your newsletter as a popup so that it shows up when the customer enters the home page. This will make it more visible and attract more people to your newsletter. 

  • Testimonials

Customers read user reviews more than they read product descriptions. If they find that 50 other people have liked your product and have purchased from you, it helps your credibility and they feel safer buying from you. So try to add some reviews of your products and services to your homepage.

  • About Us

People tend to buy more from people they can easily relate to. If you share your journey, your goals, and your aspirations with your customers, it will be easier for people to connect with you. If you can create an emotional connection with your visitors, people are sure to buy products from you.

- You should work on the store design. 

- On the homepage display the collection you have in the store.

- You need to make the product page professional. Currently, it looks cluttered. You can refer to some stores for a better understanding of the layout. 

- Add reviews on the homepage.

You need to engage your visitors coming to your site by giving loyalty reward points which will increase repeat purchase and customer lifetime value. You can add a chatbot to make sure you never lose any of your customers. You can add web push notifications which will help you to retarget your customers anytime even when they are not in your store. This will help you to run your store smoothly and decrease the bounce rate and will capture your visitors and convert them into prospective or paying customers. You will be able to retain your customers for the long term.
