Hello. I would really appreciate feedback on my site

I launched 3 days ago. Website traffic is good, but only 2 sales. Please help with honest feedback. Thank you.

Hope following suggestions will help you:

  • Overall Font, Color, Spacing, Alignment need to adjust


  • Open your social profiles at new tab
  • Have a clear header bar to help users locate the products they're looking for. Example of Good Header
  • Add Custom Slider(Hero banners) with Call to Action
  • Highlight your USP - What's unique about you and your brand that none of the other Shopify merchants have? This needs to be highlighted in your store presentation, features & more.
  • Human Touch : About you and your business - Highlight what makes you different and personalize your offerings when you write about your brand in a custom About Us section.Example of Nice Home page
  • Add Featured / Bestseller products at home page
  • Add Testimonials at homepage
  • Clear product title and description , high quality images , reviews , related products , color swatch function, grey effect for sold out products , product labels , product quick view - All these features make your store much more convenient, authentic, easy to use and user-friendly.
  • Add Sticky Buy now or add a cart button , Sticky cart - A sticky cart icon or sticky checkout bar reduces cart abandonment and engages the customer in your store.
  • Banner adding on Collection page - Make your collection page stand out with interesting & creative collection banners. Example of Good Collection Page
  • Add Product filter for easy navigation - Categorize & filter products by their size, colour or type so users find product to product navigation easy.Example of Ideal Product Page
  • Do Cart Page Modification : discount code , Gift wrapping , additional cart notes , delivery date picker, i agree with terms and conditions, trust badges, etc. - Personalize your customer's shopping experience with these features on your cart page.
  • Do some ON PAGE SEO

I'm Richard - CRO Expert at PageFly Page Builder. First of all, congratulations on your store. So I've checked this collection page of yours and I have a few feedback on it, and I hope it helps

1. Header 

Firstly, your menu bar could be more diversified to optimize your collection page. You have some esensial tabs such as: Home, Catalog, FAQs.  I would suggest you add some more tabs such as: Contact us, featured collections or even product categories. Thus, visitors know they are in the right place. In fact, sometimes visitors just leave when they cannot see what they are looking for. It’s such a loss!


Secondly, the search bar and the cart stay so small and hard to notice in the top right corner. The use of only an icon, its size, and nearby competing elements impact the field’s visibility. During testing, numerous subjects relied on search as a fallback strategy when they got stuck.

2. Pagination load mode should be replaced by “load more” 

I notice that your collection page of pagination loading which might cause difficulty on both desktop and mobile. Since the page button is quite small and slow- loading, it’s hard for customers to move between pages. “Load More” loading is proved to be the loading schema that worked best across desktop and mobile devices, for both category-based product lists and search results. 


ASOS is a good example of using “load more” loading.


3. Use secondary Hover Image

Having plenty of visual product information (i.e., product images) is therefore important, but only having them on the product page often won’t suffice because users may never reach that product page if they discard a product due to a lack of visual information in the product list.

Hey there @gigib1 Here's what I'd like to add - 

1. Instead of a catalog, do you mind expanding your menu? This way, customers get a rough idea of what all things you're dealing with. 

2. Because you're into home decor, you need to come up with realistic images! Just place the decor item on a table in a living room to give a feel of how it's going to look like! Adding just 1 photo is not enough. 

3. You've added social media icons that are great! But you also need to welcome customers' reviews and feedback on your store! 

4. For now, when I move my cursor to the images or categories, nothing happens. You could add effects like as soon as my cursor touches the category, it should burst open or zoom in smoothly! It adds up to good user experience! 

Next, you need to plan on your selling strategy! There are around 60+ global marketplaces where you can start selling your merchandise! With such a great store, it's time for you to take your game to the next level!

  1. Clear CTAs - help to show what to do next. Hero banner on your homepage is a key to make a connection with every visitor. You should clearly communicate what your website is about.
  2. Branding - clearly show your company branding. Logo, brand colors, brand fonts - should be the same across websites, emails, and social profiles. A key part of building your brand is making it recognizable. 
  3. Social proof - an incredibly powerful sales and lead generation tool. 
  4. Engaging images - you need them on your homepage to give visitors a sense of what your business is about. Images help you to tell a story and show visitors what they can gain from your product. For a product website think about how images can convey the value of your product and help your visitors to achieve their goals.
  5. Consumers want more videos from brands. Furthermore, 46% of consumers act after watching a video advertisement. Add videos to your emails and social media pages. You can even embed video links into your blogs.
  6. Add About Us and Contact us pages
  7. If your website doesn’t have a blog already, make creating one a priority. But if you have a blog, it gives people a reason to keep coming back. Blogs also help improve your SEO because you’re constantly adding new content to your page.
  8. Try adding SEO related high search keywords in your title and product description so that it will be very easy to market your products and display them at the top in google search.
  9. Homepage designs guides your visitors around your website. To engage visitors you need to work on homepage layout design.  Include trust indicators on the homepage. Homepage content should be strategically decided.
  10. 90% of people read reviews before purchasing an item. I personally do not read the description too much, I go straight on to the reviews section because that is social proof. In my opinion that is essential for every site. I highly recommend (almost insist) and adding that feature on your site. You can use Growave for that, it offers automated emails within the Reviews feature as well.
  11. Imagine if you saw something that you quite like in the store, however you want to browse more, get more options, and then choose the best one. That often happens to me, because I am indecisive. That is when Wishlist comes in handy. Since you have a lot of products on your site, I recommend adding that feature to improve the user experience on your site. Besides, if the items on the wishlist have not been purchased, automated emails will be sent out as a reminder. 

  12. Social media has become a huge thing nowadays. I highly recommend taking advantage of that and adding Instagram galleries on your homepage. It will help drive traffic from your site on to your account and vice versa.
  13. Implement an opportunity to log in and sign up using Social Media account. We all have accounts at least in one social media. And if I have an opportunity to create an account just with one click, I will do it. having an easier way to Sign in will help you gather customer base. The most valuable thing for a company is the customer
  14. The sale you have seems to be a nice deal, however, when you make such a big amount off it might devalue your product. People always need to know why you have made such sales, is it a seasonal sale? or is it because there is no demand for it? Does that mean the product is bad? 

    Instead of giving a discount for nothing, give them rewards for completing certain actions on your store ex. for creating accounts, for leaving a review, for sharing your site, for spending money on your site. It is not difficult for a user to do and you will get so many actions on your site, and you are having discounts anyway.


  15. Use a referral program that will encourage your existing customers to share your products with their friends by giving discounts if the latter have purchased something from your store. With referral programs it is important to carefully set up so that you are not giving huge discounts and not getting anything back. Have seen your store and have some comments below:

- Add the CTA buttons on your banner and also add more banners if you can. 


- This part is not necessary I suppose


- Too many collections, try to combine some in one if you can.


- Have seen your Instagram but it doesn't have any content. Try to build your Instagram because it's a good sales channel.

- Do you try to have some discount events by using discount popups or referral events?
