GMC Account Suspension Challenge: What's Wrong with This Store?

Hello,

My GMC account was suspended today with the summary explanation "Product data disapproved” with the following explanation:

Dear Google Merchant Center User,
 
We've reviewed your Merchant Center account and found policy violations.
Your Merchant Center account has been suspended, and your products are no longer being promoted.
Note that a suspension notification is also displayed in your Merchant Center account. In addition, related Merchant Center accounts may also get suspended.
 
Your Merchant Center account is in violation of the following policies: 
Misrepresentation of self or product (Untrustworthy promotions)
UNACCEPTABLE BUSINESS PRACTICES
 
Your Merchant Center account has been suspended for violation of the Unacceptable Business Practices Policy.
Google doesn't want users to feel misled by the content promoted in Shopping offers.  In determining whether a merchant and/or site meets our requirements we may review information from multiple sources including your website, product listings, accounts and third party sources.
 
These are all real products whose availability was verified a day or two ago.  The descriptions are in large part those of the vendors.  I vetted the descriptions and if anything drew back on some of the claims to ensure accuracy.
 
Can anyone find the problem?  Images too small, perhaps?  Anything?

You can ask Google for specific examples of policy violation. To do so ask here and check the box, I need more info : https://support.google.com/merchants/contact/suspended

Emmanuel,

Thanks for your reply.  What's happened in the interim is that my GMC account has been permanently suspended.

I contacted my Google account rep and started an email thread.  We scheduled a call but by the time of the call I had provided a detailed breakdown of my account suspension and of all of the things I could think of that might have triggered it.  In so doing, I may have inadvertently compounded the possible reasons for the shutdown.

So the problem has now ballooned very rapidly into at least these two parts:

  • My GMC account has been permanently suspended.
  • I may have clouded the problem space by compounding the possible reasons for the suspension in my eagerness to resolve it.

Is following your link still worthwhile given that the GMC account has been permanently suspended?

Please let me know if I should proceed with that, or if a different path is in order given the permanent suspension.

When Google says the account is permanently suspended, then there is nothing that you can do. I have no advice for you other than, look for other advertising channels.
