Get high traffic but no sales...anyonw can help?

Hello everyone.

I have a store up and running

I am running google ads...not yet Fb ads.

Although i have over 14k impressions

I do not have a single sale!

Can anybody please help me with finding out what is wrong with my store? 

It is a one product store.

Hello,

Are you running Facebook ads? 14,000 impressions is not a lot because it does not mean that people have actually clicked on your website. Can  you check how many people converted? meaning they clicked on your website, added to cart, initiated checkout. Either way, it is not a lot as it takes about 7 times for a person to decide to make a purchase unless you fall on impulsive shoppers. I have over 180,000 reaches on my website and over 1,300 web clicks and I started running FB ads only at the beginning of June and have made over 20 sales so far, barely enough to cover my ad spent. If you really want to make your website work, you need to invest in FB ads otherwise you will still be in the same place in a few months from now. It's really hard, you have to be patient but at the end it is worth it if you are passionate in what you are selling, doing.

  1. Clear CTAs - help to show what to do next. Hero banner on your homepage is a key to make a connection with every visitor. You should clearly communicate what your website is about.
  2. Branding - clearly show your company branding. Logo, brand colors, brand fonts - should be the same across websites, emails, and social profiles. A key part of building your brand is making it recognizable. 
  3. Social proof - an incredibly powerful sales and lead generation tool. 
  4. Engaging images - you need them on your homepage to give visitors a sense of what your business is about. Images help you to tell a story and show visitors what they can gain from your product. For a product website think about how images can convey the value of your product and help your visitors to achieve their goals.
  5. Consumers want more videos from brands. Furthermore, 46% of consumers act after watching a video advertisement. Add videos to your emails and social media pages. You can even embed video links into your blogs.
  6. If your website doesn’t have a blog already, make creating one a priority. But if you have a blog, it gives people a reason to keep coming back. Blogs also help improve your SEO because you’re constantly adding new content to your page.
  7. Try adding SEO related high search keywords in your title and product description so that it will be very easy to market your products and display them at the top in google search.
  8. When it comes to single-item stores it might be challenging driving traffic and have sales because the market for that product might not be too big. That is why I advise to work in partnership with other companies that sell complementary products or services.
  9. Implement an opportunity to log in and sign up using Social Media account. We all have accounts at least in one social media. And if I have an opportunity to create an account just with one click, I will do it. having an easier way to Sign in will help you gather customer base. The most valuable thing for a company is the customer
  10. The items in your store are more on an expensive side, therefore I recommend giving back to your customers by rewarding them with free shipping, discounts, and other goodies for spending a certain amount of money on your site. That way,  letting your customers know that you care about them.
  11. Use a referral program that will encourage your existing customers to share your products with their friends by giving discounts if the latter have purchased something from your store. With referral programs it is important to carefully set up so that you are not giving huge discounts and not getting anything back. Ads can be a great way to increase traffic numbers for your website. However, if you have yet to see an adequate return on investment, it may just be that you’re making some common mistakes leading up to getting your custom audience to your landing page.


I just reviewed your store. I think you should do some improvements on your store also.


Store Speed - To increase visitors and sales you need to work on your website performance’s speed as I am seeing it is very low, 25%. It should be above 60%. Also, you need to optimize website images. It will improve the user experience. Fast page load time will also boost the website’s crawl rate.

Product Page: You can add a product page on menu to provide a detailed product description to users it creates a better understanding of the product and also it will help to increase ranking for keywords. 

Put Effort Into Online Reviews & Social Proof: Social media Makes your visible and it expands conversion such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram are great platforms for marketing and connecting with customers.
