I've had a Shopify store since last January, and I get virtually no sales and no traffic. I've spent countless hours on pictures and copy descriptions, connected it to a FB page, spent tons of money on FB and Instagram, and event done a Google Adwords campaign ($500), and still no traffic and very, very few sales. I am very discouraged. I am not super web-marketing saavy, but I've done everything I know how, and I have literally watched my money dry up. I cannot afford to pay, pay, pay for more apps and more services, when I am literally seeing no return.
Any FREE advice? Or did I just choose the wrong platform entirely for my store?
I just took a look at your store and I think it looks really good. There are just a few minor things that I might consider changing
One thing you might want to add is a FAQ section. Adding an FAQ section to your store can help your customer more easily be able to find a solution to their problems without asking you. This will help long into the future so you don't need to spend so much time on customer support
After browsing your store I noticed I wasn't able to find a sense of urgency. By using urgency, you can make your visitors feel like they are missing out unless they order immediately. The 'Fear of Missing Out' that they experience, will increase your ability to convert them into buyers. One app that can help you with that is https://apps.shopify.com/better-countdown . It really can make a big difference in getting your customers to buy from you
You might consider adding reviews. If you add reviews it will help keep your customers on your site. If your customer needs to leave your site to do research on a product they might not come back, adding reviews can help with that.
Nice job on your all of your hard work so far, and I'm sure that just a few minor changes will really help.
