HUNDREDS of views no conversions. Feedback?

Hello, My shop has been open for exactly a month. I've had about 3000 visitors, only 31 orders done. My conversion rate is only 1.1%, 4.9% added to cart, 2.4% reach checkout. I am advertising on most social media platforms. On Pinterest i have an audience over 300K a month. Any suggestions on what may scare customers away. I even drop prices drastically. Any suggestions or feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Also do not be worried because conversion rates on stores are very low. You are in the ballpark figure for conversion rates. Conversion rates sit between just below 1% to just above 1%

I am going, to be honest with you and will try to help you with your store.

1. You have too many options on the menu bar - move login and sign up to the navi bar- near add to cart icon.

2. Add "About Us" and "Contact Us" pages.

3. Instead of placing this huge image - place a hero banner with high-quality images, that will resonate with your brand. Add the CTA button - SHOP NOW.

4. Chane your fonts and size of the text. New arrivals - letters are too huge. Your text should contain the same and be readable. 

5. Images for the products - I recommend to change them, as they look not professional. 

6. Product description - is very important as it increases clickthrough rates, visits from organic search, and social media. Therefore, it is important to use keywords, as it affects SEO. Also, add more to your descriptions.

7. Imagine if you saw something that you quite like in the store, however you want to browse more, get more options, and then choose the best one. That often happens to me, because I am indecisive. That is when Wishlist comes in handy. Since you have a lot of products on your site, I recommend adding that feature to improve the user experience on your site. Besides, if the items on the wishlist have not been purchased, automated emails will be sent out as a reminder. It will decrease a number of abandonment purchases. 

8. Social media has become a huge thing nowadays. I highly recommend taking advantage of that and adding Instagram galleries on your homepage. It will help drive traffic from your site on to your account and vice versa. 

9. Instead of giving a discount for nothing, give them rewards for completing certain actions on your store ex. for creating accounts, for leaving a review, for sharing your site, for spending money on your site. It is not difficult for a user to do and you will get so many actions on your site, and you are having discounts anyway.

  • Try adding SEO related high search keywords in your title and product description so that it will be very easy to market your products and display them at the top in google search.
  • Try adding some sale offers to your products to attract customers.
  • Add a blog page, blog page helps you to share more about your website and products which increases your site visibility.

1. The website feels empty and lacks character instead of the images placed you can add a hero banner or brand banner with a sliding image option this will help the customer understand the theme of the website also an addition of video to a landing page increases conversations by 80%.
2. Instead of placing all the images on the homepage which is cluttered you can add a feature of a specialized page or characterized page and move the rest of the image to a new category page. This will reduce the clutter on the website
3. Add About Us page and Contact Us page to the header section this will help the audience know why your brand is unique from others in the market.
4. Engage the audience by writing a blog this with good titles this will create an impression that you are the most knowledgeable one your audience will look up to you for further knowledge.
5. Ensure that every product has large images in the product view that zoom to fill the browser window. Also, reduce the size of the images currently the images are scaled up too much, and literally the images are throwing on the face.
6. Provide Clear navigation list out various sections of your site and link to them, this will help visitors with an overall understanding of the content you offer. Branded video content is likely to take over consumers who are 300% most likely to watch a video about a product rather than read a description.
7. The addition of most viewed or most liked section on your homepage will significantly increase the percentage of gallery review. A search feature on your homepage will give easy access to customers as more than 50% of users on a landing page head straight to search box to navigate the site.
8. Product badges are a great way to highlight specific products in your store so they stand out. Getting your customers to take notice of the best product offerings and promotions means your sales campaigns should be even more successful. You can even combine product badges with proven marketing techniques such as scarcity and social proof and your products should sell even faster.

Fun store! A few suggestions:

1. If you get a free tool like Hotjar, set up some heatmaps to see what people are doing on your site and how far they are scrolling down.

2. Do you have an email capture? I would retarget the emails I collect.

3. I would add some brand building elements on the homepage. Add some text about your story and why you are different from your competitors.

4. The product images on the homepage feel a bit overwhelming. Try different layouts and image sizes.
