I would truly appreciate a review of my store which has been live for over two years at https://www.fairtradefusion.com/. I barely get any visitors which makes sense then that I get almost no sales. I need to convert as much as I get though! Please have a look. I've tried FB ads, Google Shopping, and building up a large Pinterest account, but I just can't seem to gain traction. Will have to close if things don't turn around soon.

I checked your Facebook page and it's too sales-sy. You need to post content that will engage your audience. This applies not only to Facebook, but to your other social media accounts as well. You might find this blog post helpful: https://pixc.com/blog/11-social-media-tips-to-boost-online-sales/.
I would also suggest checking out this marketing checklist from Shopify: https://www.shopify.com/blog/make-your-first-sale. There are a lot of free ways to drive traffic to your store and once you've exhausted those, then you can invest in paid marketing.
You have plenty of products for sale and a great selling proposition [your branding]. Your store design is a bit dated [sorry], however as you mentioned, your priority is now traffic - without it, even with the best-looking website, the sales can be low. How have you defined your audience when running Facebook ads - do you remember the specifics? Also, what was your ad copy? Facebook ads can be powerful for driving traffic and sales, however you have to put a lot of work initially to set them up correctly, as otherwise you'd be losing money.

Hi Maggie - I can't remember the specifics on the FB ads because it has been awhile. I did some on my own targeting my demographic - mid age woman, highly educated, people interested in fair trade... I also engaged a specialist who I know had a lot of success with others. He gave it a go for me because he loved and believed in my site's concept. Unfortunately, even he could not make it work and he said there are a few niches that are harder to target. FB drained me and I don't have the money or inclination to invest with it again. I think SEO, building my email list, and social media are the ways to probably go with this site. I just don't have the money to invest much in it right now. I do intend to work on the home page to try and update it some. Thank you for your comments!
