Hey there, @EthanBeaith

Bo here from Shopify Support!

Well done on getting started. There are a few things that you can tweak to improve your store.

Having a social media presence is incredibly important in eCommerce. You can check out our guide on building your presence here. Social media is a key aspect of digital marketing, helping businesses reach millions of customers across the world. Last year in the UK alone, 89% of people accessed the internet every week; 77% of these used it to research goods/services before making a purchase, and 60% to access social media. It’s estimated that, worldwide, over 3 billion people use social media every day. This means, if you want to grow your business, you need to start taking advantage of using social media for your Shopify store. You can take a look at our guide on social media marketing here.

I noticed that you have an About Us section in your footer, it is, however, very short and does not really tell your customer anything about your business. The About Us is probably the most underutilized marketing tool on Online Stores. What an About Us page should be is a goal-oriented sales page, one that focuses on highlighting the biggest selling points of your story and brand, making a strong impression on curious customers. You can read up on how to write a persuasive About Us page here.

One small thing which isn't crucial but will make your site look that bit more professional is adding a favicon that matches your business logo. A favicon is an icon that appears on a tab in a browser, usually a logo. You can add a favicon to your site as per this guide.

Your logo says everything about your business. If it looks good, it leaves a lasting impression on potential customers. A bad logo, on the other hand, can leave customers with a bad taste in their mouth. It can also hinder your brand across different channels—like social media, web, and print—if the colors or layout are done poorly.

A well-designed business logo can:

  • Grab potential customers’ attention. People have short attention spans. A great logo can attract the eye and communicate your brand values quickly.
  • Make you recognizable. Logos are the foundation of your brand identity. It can differentiate you from competitors and help people remember your business across any channel.
  • Build customer loyalty. A professional logo can build trust with people before they even interact with your brand. If they have a great experience, they’ll likely return and continue to buy from your business.

As you can see, a small business won’t get far without a good logo. It can make you memorable, express your unique selling proposition, and connect with your audience, which can lead to better retention and sales over time.

Coming up with a well-designed, unique logo can be challenging. It can feel like you don’t know where to start and you’ll have to hire a professional designer to get the job done.

To help you find the perfect logo (without breaking the bank), we’ve put together a list of the best free logo makers online to make sure your brand is memorable and differentiates you from the competition.

You should definitely feature more products on your homepage! The more products on the landing page, the more likely a customer is to see a product they like immediately and checkout! You can learn more about customizing your theme here

All the Best,
