How to exclude pages from internal search results?

Hi there!

Some of our pages (privacy policy & terms of service) show up in our store search results despite the fact that our liquid code includes these lines, as suggested in other conversations:

   <input type="hidden" name="type" value="product">

Do you have any idea of what could be causing this?

Do you have a link to your shop that you can share?
Replication steps would be ideal as well if there's a few ways to search on the shop.
