I desperately need feedback on my store. 5 months of marketing and 5 sales :(

I started the store properly in March. I figured out the website and entered all the data of products. I went with a general store with a good part in Canadian nephrite jade and drop-shipping with Oberlo. I was ready to promote! I began Facebook ads in mid-May. I promote myself on Instagram, Facebook, Facebook marketplace, Pinterest and twitter. I feel my photos are good and so are my descriptions and titles. I have a SEO app. I have done my SEOs. I am getting a tiny bit of organic traffic but usually from Fb only on the one product page. I received  1 order for a a friend in TX. 2 from FB ads. I have started with Ebay about a month ago and received 2 more orders. It sucks and I am frustrated. I am starting with Amazon but I am at this point extremely frustrated.

I welcome feedback on how to get sales. Are there any tricks? I have OD on YouTube videos. Help please!

Success.

Hi @ElizB

As for running paid ads its really important to be running them to the right page or funnel. Also SEO takes time to kick in.

As for eBay here is some tips on how you can convert eBay sales into Shopify Sales ->here

Some feedback on your website

Areas to work on

  • Site navigation
  • Home Page

I'll also send you more details on how you can improve on these areas.

The online game takes time. Keep working on it and I'm sure you will do well.

Cheers

Hey,

If you are getting views this surely means visitors are interested to buy from your store, however they might not have found your store appealing, though it's a gem of a store but surely you can work on few aspects mentioned down below which will help you in settling UI and overall functionality which will build trust for visitors and eventually drive you a lot better sales.

  1. For engaging new customers, you can add a section of best-selling products.
  2. For some sales in the start, you need to offer some discounts to get going as a promotional offer.
Also, it would be great if you can create a separate sale page for discounted products.
  3. Also, You have around  595 products and sure you might add a few more as its just a start for you visitor might feel hard to find the right product.
Also your search page is bit off and empty https://www.opencirclespecialties.com/search?type=product&q= Don't you think if suggestions are offered to searchbar, there will be a lot of chances for a visitor to buy from your store?
I would recommend to replace the default search with advanced search like Sparq which allows synonyms, advanced custom tag filters, spelling correction and other such feature. Visitors with search are high intent users and their conversion rate is higher than normal users.
Check out the features live here.
  4. Sales Pop syncs your store's data to turn recent orders into sales notification popups on your storefront. This is Sales Pop's highest converting feature and is most commonly used on product pages, collection pages.
  5. If you're suffering from lots of traffic and little sales due to abandoned carts, you're not the only one— and PushOwl could be the answer you're looking for. Automated abandoned cart push notifications can help you increase sales and re-engage visitors to your site who have left.

I hope my feedback will help you converting visitors into customers.
Neha:)

Sparq is a fast and beautiful search solution for Shopify store owners. It allows store owners to upgrade their default search to an extremely fast, more user friendly and feature rich search
