Is this normal or am i doing something wrong? this is my first store.

First of all, you need to add some more products to your store to increase the variety and grab customer attention. Apart from that, some peculiar things to be noted are:

  1. Favicon is missing.
  2. The logo is plain, just text. Try using different color combinations.
  3. I would love to see an Account login/sign-in system, as it is a must for an ecommerce.
  4. Social links should be added to impart connectivity.
  5. You should add terms and condition and FAQ’s if any, again these also help in building search engine content.
  6. Newsletters should be added for the latest discount and promotion updates.
  7. You can also install one of the most popular app Growwave which is all in one marketing platform that helps store owners increase conversions with ease.
  8.  Finally, I would also recommend replacing the default search with an advanced search like Sparq which allows synonyms, advanced custom tag filters, spelling correction, and other such features. Visitors with search are high intent users and their conversion rate is higher than normal users.
