Hi guys,

I have launched my store since 1 week.. No sales yet.. *fingers crossed* .

I have run a few google ads which generated some traffics.. around 30 clicks/day. A few added to cart , but still no sales

Hey congratulations on opening such a great store, honestly I like it a lot, but I think there might be a couple things you could consider changing.

I wasn't able to find a support email address. If you are able to add a support email address, that's easily visible it helps your customer know that they will be able to reach out to you if they have any questions.

One thing to consider is adding a blog. If you had a blog you would be able to drive more organic traffic to your store, plus it would help establish yourself as an expert.

An important thing I couldn't find is a sense of urgency. Imagine you are a customer browsing an online store. Maybe you are ready to buy maybe you aren't. But there is a good chance you aren't in the buying mood at the moment. If you add a sense of urgency to your store it can help more of your customers to buy, and have them buy faster. One way you can do so is by adding https://apps.shopify.com/better-countdown .

Also I noticed that you don't have an always visible buy button. One of the biggest reasons people don't buy from online stores is because it's a hassle to checkout. We want to be able to reduce all friction that could potentially cause a customer not to buy. I recommend adding https://apps.shopify.com/better-sticky-checkout-button-increase-your-sales to your site. It's an app that will make your buy button always visible. If they buy button isn't always visible on your site, your customer will have a hard time trying to buy from you. And even if they still are able to checkout, it can go a long way in helping them have a positive experience on your site.

Overall your store looks really good, I think with just a little bit of time and effort you'll be able to create a really awesome store!

Hi there,

I'm browsing from a laptop.

When I click on your front page- its takes ages for the video to load- if i was a stranger I would leave.

The first few seconds are the most important of the video- (because thats how long my concentration span is on a website before i click away). The first thing / image I need to see, is for you to tell me, what you are selling and who you are selling too. It took me a long time to understand  that you are a womens online clothing shop.That vogue intro with logo etc, doesn't tell me anything about who you are specifically selling too or exactly what. I don't even know its a shop (because i am an online browswer travelling around the web in a rush and dont have time to analyse things)

The first thing i see below is an advert banner (i still don't realise you are a shop because it doesn't have a price on it). They look like something teenagers would wear- is this website for teenagers?

Next thing i see below are best sellers- there you go, now I know you are a shop

Next thing below I see two dress categories- okay great now I know you sell womens dresses, the dress on the website looks edgy and quirky the dress on the right is classical... I still don't actually know what your shop is specialises in (because the intro when I started didnt tell me)

Next thing below I see another category ( ... Im in a rush, is she a girl? Is this a womens shop?) 


Category pages-  Why have a big slider at the top of the page? (im a busy shopper, you're wasting my time making me scroll down, all I want to do is see your products, start shopping and spend my money straight away)

Your category pages are really really nice, and so are your products- colours are nice too

The category page uses colours- that psychologically tells me this is a womens shop!! However I still don't know initally realise you are selling  designer labels, until I take the time to analyse.

Why don't you match the highlight colours on the category page to match with the images on your home page- so that people who land on your home page also psychologically know it is a womens shop?

Product page is okay- but when you use that Authentic Euopean Product stamp- you are wasting space- instead you could remove it and use that space so that the product title etc lifts up and the customer not only gets to see the product image straight away but also more product information.

Instead of having the Authentic European Product Stamp on the product page there- why don't you edit all your images and have the stamp inside the product image?

Do you really need all those logo's underneath the add to cart button, (you're distracting / slowing down / stopping the customer from reading the product description ) If you remove all the logos then the products desciption lifts up. From a psychological selfish point of view, the first thing I want to know is, do I even like the product and would i consider buying it, before I want to be forced to look at logos.

Personally I think- if you are going to sell expensive products- you should buy an expensive theme. I don't want to buy my designer goods from a plain generic website. If i'm going to spend a lot of money on something (which I don't do very often), I want to have a very special experience. The website's image is part of that experience.

Most feedback on fixing,tweaking the website is just a distraction to give a feeling you can repair what's wrong with your own hands immediately. After all what's the point of making a bunch of website changes for a few that aren't even spending money in the first place?

That only goes so far you need to either be a marketing expert and get highly targeted customers or you need to massively up those numbers 300/3000 a day while hoping to hit the average of 1-2% conversion. It can be shockingly painful to do the math and learn how to do marketing adspend. Start slow and set hard limits before letting a CPC,fb,etc campaign racks up thousands. 

Hard choices if you have super focused targeted ads with low traffic but high bounce then maybe website changes might help, but your market is womans fashion and competition is huge so I doubt it.


In between running marketing budget tests while you wait for traffic|conversion results maybe you could do tweaks:

When the homepage loads your visually assualted by doodads, popups on top of moving backgrounds, and then a noise playing message widget. Attention is all over the place tone it down and direct focus to 1 thing.

World shipping bar for some reason has the interaction mouse cursor but on desktop the swipe "distance" is so large it doesn't seem like it will slide it's fine just odd experience that doesn't quickly indicate swiping, if app tell app devs. Also not linked to a shipping faq or calculator.

An important thing I couldn't find is a sense of urgency.

For me the slideshow tries to create a false sense of urgency but just comes off as visuals playing too rapidly for it to be any type of stand alone message. Video concludes by just repeating the name of the website your already on which can be useful for specific reasons like a big budget marketing campaign. Also message widget in right beeps and moves to draw attention away with bad timing.  If you can code maybe make a CtA appear /shrug.

Disclaimer oranic traffic is not instaneous sales it's a growth strategy you have to do it consitently with content people actually look at, or link to,  or get lucky and do something viral.


Slideshow breaks ecommerce slideshow rule #1 show a product link to a product, goes so fast not even clear if you even sell the items in the video. Collection pages do this to with a passive HUGE image

2nd that opinion product landing page rule #1: action above the fold.  You have the cta shop button out of view when page loads for most desktops. This happens again on product pages for desktop.Product urls what even is /products/w74b05w9540_ft55? how shareable|recognizeable|talkable of a url is that?

I wouldn't embed that in images to much work, also as you may want to watermark them later and that would  make alot of noise. Go overlay route use transparent version of logo or image area for products in tag|collection|vendor . Not sure if impulse them has a badges(sale,new,etc) feature but that's what you could repurpose for this.

Second this, though with caveat that yes building trust is difficult and a necessity but "badges doth protests to much, methinks" so maybe dial it back at least, maybe move after description. There's also the option of adding "trust" badges to the footer, or using one of the apps that makes it stick to the footer.

Also when you show that much stuff in an image you really want to link to a faq or help page to back it up so it's more than just an image of icons grabbed of the internet.

If you show payment icons they MUST match everywhere; right now 'powered by stripe'&discover is not in the footer, and paypal&apple&google are not in the products.

Inconsitent messaging with payments|money can undo having all those badges in the first place.


About the theme you got good font choices and coloring, dont worry to much about being non-generic because after all you need to generate revenue before investing in a custom tailored theme. But meanwhile it's good practice to collect a mood board of competitors,problems and features you need if that day happens.

work on the product titles, so you get traffic from people searching for phrases such as: "short bolero cardigan" or "black short ladies cardigan" and use them in your titles. Some of your product titles are very  specific and won't be featured in the relevant search results, unless someone is searching for Pinko - 1G12Q3-Y3M1 ;)

Your store seems amazing! I would suggest you try the Flashchat app, which will help you recover abandoned carts through Messenger (up to 15% recovery). It will definitely help you make some extra sales for free!

Nice shop, M. K.!  I'm no pro at this, but as someone who has been shopping online since online shopping has been online, maybe I can give you a shopper's perspective.

Stop the pop-ups.  Nothing more irritating than constantly clicking X's or finding another advertisement blocking what I was looking at - ESPECIALLY when I first land on a site's home page. I think they are nothing more than fancy (=useless) geegaws that say, "Look at me - I'm desperate!")  If you can't tell, I hate them with a passion.

"All of our packages are shipped with a tracking number for our customers comfort."...is that really why?  As a customer, that does not make me feel comfortable.  It makes me feel the shop is blowing smoke up where the sun doesn't shine.  Although I do expect to see a tracking number, it is more for the vendor's protection than mine.  Why?  I don't have a contract with the Post Office or any other courier service.  My contract is with the vendor, whose responsibility is to get my purchase to me. How they do it is up to them.  Maybe consider dropping the "...for our customers comfort." and just leave the rest of the sentence stand on it's own feet?

How's that for some negative feedback?  :o)

Thanks for the feedbacks, I made a few changes.

Well, I have run a cyber monday google ads, which got me around 150clicks in 1 day, 20 added to cart and 10 on checkout information.

But all NO one completed the checkout customer information page.

Any feedback/comment/advise will be much appreciated :)

Maybe using the Triple P method would help?   Practice Patience Permanently.
