Looking For Feedback On My New Store

Hello Shopify Friends!

 

I would be super appreciative of any and all feedback on my new website. www.abundancehaven.com

 

I am also open to all recommendations of where to learn more about SEO/SEM/Retargeting Ads if anyone has suggestions of where to start to learn more about these to implement into my marketing plans. I'm interested in learning about it personally rather than hiring out. 

 

Also, if anyone also has recommendations on this; I am looking to have my headers be drop down options as I would like to add tabs for other items such as consulting and other services I offer, but have no room in my header for. 

Example: Title be "All Products" or similar and under that be each of the "Mala Necklaces", "Mala Bracelets", and "Mini Malas".. then "Services" and add my "Card Readings" and "Consulting" pages.. but I cannot for the life of me figure this out. Any suggestions on how to learn how to make those header options drop-downs instead? It is a part of my theme, and there should be simple and mega menu options, but the menu options I am getting are only these, with no options to have secondary options within that menu option:

1. Create 2 menu:

2. Drag the test1 menu into the Test menu u will see some sort of break.This is the result:

Oh my gosh! So simple, yet I was oblivious. Now looking at the dots that move like blocks do.. I cannot believe I never thought of that.

Hey there,

 

No problem, Glad to help! For additional info you can set "Test" Menu to not link anywhere or refresh by using "#" to prevent refreshing page when user decide to click on the link.

Hey Abundance Haven, 

The currency converter should be shifted on the top right of the header beside the search bar in the side links. The arrangement of the sidelinks on the top right of the header is haphazard. The correct order should be Login, search bar and cart and currency converter. Other key points to be noted are as follows:

  1. The email address need not to be included in the top right of the header when it is already a part of the "Email us today" section in the footer.
  2. Favicon is missing, which is quite crucial for site identification.
  3. More social links need to be added apart from Facebook and Instagram for better connectivity.
  4. Reviews need to be added below each product for improving customer choice.
  5. Testimonials need to be added for better brand promotion,
  6. You should add Terms and Conditions like Privacy policy, Refund Policy and Terms of Service etc as they help in building search engine content.
  7. You can also install one of the most popular app Growwave which is all in one marketing platform that helps store owners increase conversions with ease.
  8. Finally, I would also recommend replacing the default search with an advanced search like Sparq which allows synonyms, advanced custom tag filters, spelling correction, and other such features. Visitors with search are high intent users and their conversion rate is higher than normal users.

@AbundanceHaven , here are some suggestions which will help you get sales and conversions:-

1. The first fold of the website should always have a call to action in it - 

And here’s why; in most cases placing the CTA above the fold works wonders for your campaigns. This placement immediately draws your visitors’ attention to your CTA which is always good for conversions.

2. You can start giving loyalty points to your customers on different activities like signing up, visiting a store, making a purchase, allowing for push notifications. This will help you to entice your customers and retain them. You can reward your customers in order to redeem those points. When you will give points to them they will come again in the future to make a purchase in order to redeem those points. This encourages repeat purchases which increase sales and helps in retaining your customers.

3. Add web push notifications, it will help you to retarget your customers even when they are not on your store. It will also reduce the abandoned cart rate.

4. Add a referral program. Referral marketing is a cost-effective way to gain new and loyal customers. Because people are social creatures, individuals that are referred to your company are much more likely to remain loyal customers.
