This is my first store and before I start any marketing I would like to know what could be improved/changed.

I'm certainly no website expert, other than shopping on them and building mine here, which I am new at. But I think it's great! Clean, easy to navigate, lots of great images and add-ins. Really lovely.
The only slight criticism I might have is with the trust factor - your social media is pretty bare (understandably, as you said that you hadn't started marketing yet). Maybe including a bit more on your About Us page about who the people are behind the company, why you love sloths, photos of you or your business or something tangible like that would increase the trust factor in getting the first few sales in as you grow your social media following.

Thank you so much for the feedback. You are totally correct on the trust factor. I am working with someone to help me expand our copy throughout the site. Once I have some additional photos of the products in peoples hands we will get them flowing on social media as well.

I agree with @ShowgirlSparkle. Try adding more content to the website that validates the business. One way to do that is by including a really detailed footer to the bottom of your website. The footer should include all of the information one might need to make an informed purchase. Check out mikucare.com for an example of a good footer. I helped build that site and we included lots of links to different programs and discount offerings. We also have a "Specifications" and "Technology" page available for customers that want to understand the product a bit more. You could do something similar by adding a page that describes the materials that are used in your plushies for example. I also noticed you "Give Back" a portion of your proceeds. That's awesome! I would build out your "Giving Back" page a lot more. Add images to brighten it up and also remove the links to the programs (never link off your eCommerce site. IMO it's bad practice and will lower your conversion rate).

I love your store, sloths are so cute! I like your store name too. One suggestion I would have that alot of retailers are implementing on their websites are buy now, pay later options for customers. I happen to work with Klarna and its helping to increase conversions by 44% by allowing customers to pay 25% at the time of purchase and spread out the remaining payments with no interest or credit card required. You have a very captivating store. Start using a loyalty program and referral program to entice your customers. It will help you build a loyal customer base. You can give loyalty points to your customers on activities like signing up, allowing for web push notifications, make a purchase, visiting a store and many more.This will help in doubling the sales as when you give loyalty points to your customers they will come again on your store to make a purchase in order to redeem those points. You can give rewards to your customers to redeem those points.
Add a referral program. Referral marketing is a cost-effective way to gain new and loyal customers. Because people are social creatures, individuals that are referred to your company are much more likely to remain loyal customers.
Add web push notification, a chatbot.
