I hope someone can help.
Customers are encountering a Checkout navigation issue. Customers Add to Cart (this seems to be working). From the top right drop down cart icon, the mini cart automatically (and manually) pops open. You click the big green Checkout button. The Checkout button is not working in SOME cases. It does not navigate the customer to the Checkout page. The Checkout button won't let the customer proceed to checkout. Also, in some cases, the customer only wants 1 item, and the mini cart won't let the customer subtract items (if they've inadvertently added more than 1 item to the cart). I cannot recreate the issue. Few orders are working and the Checkout button loads. I have not yet found a pattern in specific operating systems or browsers as it seems to vary on which ones the Checkout does not initialize. I have recognized this issue after observing screen records of people trying to checkout (and received feedback from customers that it is not working).
I run Facebook ads direct to the product page. My website traffic comes from clicking a Facebook ad to open my website from Facebook.
I cannot reproduce the issue because I am not (served my Facebook ad) and therefore not able to click my Facebook ad, as customers do.
I installed my Facebook Pixel to track add-to-carts, checkouts, purchases.
I added the Facebook Pixel in September. Shopify explained the pixel is integrated using the OLD Shopify-Facebook Pixel Integration that "should" work (screenshot attached)
...and there is a new Shopify-Facebook Pixel Integration managed through the Shopify-Facebook app under Sales Channels (screenshot attached)
Problem 1: My website is showing a console warning message that says "Facebook Pixel - unable to parse JSON-LD tag Malformed JSON found". (screenshot attached)
Problem 2: When an item is added to cart my website is showing another console warning message. "Deprecation..." (screenshot attached)
Do you know what these 2 console errors mean? How can I fix it?
I am using Turbo Shopify Theme (Out of the Sandbox). I have contacted the Turbo Theme developers, and have been trying to resolve this issue for 5 days.
