Hi, 

We're would like to receive feedback on our store. https://fairlyspecies.com/

The recent change we made was the rich texts below the slideshow. We used to have text like "Here at Fairly Species, we are keen on helping you express your identity... blah blah blah" and that was about 4 lines long. If opened via phone, the text seemed too much, and as it would be easier to tell directly what the customers want if we use a couple of readable words, we decided to test out:

We help you stand out from the rest of other activists.

Let us know what you think and we also want to know if the message we are trying to deliver is clear enough.

I highly recommend changing the theme store - https://themeforest.net/item/avone-multipurpose-shopify-theme/24276567 - try this one, it is fully customizable and looks very professional and stylish.

Add clear CTAs - help to show what to do next. Hero banner on your homepage is a key to make a connection with every visitor. You should clearly communicate what your website is about.

Add a blog page, blog page helps you to share more about your website and products which increases your site visibility.Your e-commerce blog will not only drive more traffic to your website—but it will increase your conversions too. Your blog will make you feel more credible and relatable, which will provide new clients with a greater sense of confidence in their purchases.

90% of people read reviews before purchasing an item. I personally do not read the description too much, I go straight on to the reviews section because that is social proof. In my opinion that is essential for every site. I highly recommend (almost insist) and adding that feature on your site. You can use Growave for that, it offers automated emails within the Reviews feature as well.

Imagine if you saw something that you quite like in the store, however you want to browse more, get more options, and then choose the best one. That often happens to me, because I am indecisive. That is when Wishlist comes in handy. Since you have a lot of products on your site, I recommend adding that feature to improve the user experience on your site. Besides, if the items on the wishlist have not been purchased, automated emails will be sent out as a reminder.

Social media has become a huge thing nowadays. I highly recommend taking advantage of that and adding Instagram galleries on your homepage. It will help drive traffic from your site on to your account and vice versa.

Implement an opportunity to log in and sign up using Social Media account. We all have accounts at least in one social media. And if I have an opportunity to create an account just with one click, I will do it. having an easier way to Sign in will help you gather customer base. The most valuable thing for a company is the customer.

Use a referral program that will encourage your existing customers to share your products with their friends by giving discounts if the latter have purchased something from your store. With referral programs it is important to carefully set up so that you are not giving huge discounts and not getting anything back. [I recommend using one by Growave., because it is safe and it is integrated with 6 other marketing features (Reviews, Wishlist, Rewards, Social Login, Instagram, Discounts, Referral, VIP tiers) for better performance.

The store looks great, and the designs are really eye-catching The text below the sliding images looks great, and it's a strong welcome message.

Consider also adding a short tagline and a CTA [call to action] to each image in the sliding banner and link it to a relevant product or collection - you don’t prompt your visitors to click anywhere, so there’s no urgency for them to take action: click + shop. Adding a CTA button can definitely help you improve your conversion rate.

Consider cropping your product images o he same height, as currently they have different heights, pushing the titles below up and down the page:

Consider also working on better product titles. "Bamboo Toothbrush" is too generic and too competitive keyword to help you get found in Google. If I search for that keyword, I get bombarded with over 9 million results, mainly Amazon and sustainable bamboo product stores on page #1:

You need a much more specific and less competitive keyword if you want to be found in Google and drive free traffic [that goes for each of your keywords for any product in your store].

Even by using a free Keyword Planner you can find great selection of keywords:

Pick the one not targeted by major brands [analyze Google search results to find out], with Low to Medium competition, good search volume, and of course the transactional keyword [used by potential buyers, and therefore most likely to convert]. Refund policy - consider hyperlinking your email address for a one-click contact - see the step-by-step instructions here: how to hyperlink email address.

Contact us page - consider adding a short paragraph here too. Few sentences such as: “Contact us now with any questions. Email us at [your email address] or fill in the form below and press “Send”. We will get back to you within 24 hours.” will feel more personal and be inviting for people to reach out and contact you.

Blog - consider blogging regularly. Blogging is powerful - it helped me get to Google page #1 in only four days with this blog post: Breadcrumbs in SEO. This is a great way to keep your visitors on the website for longer, and also to get more traffic from Google from people interested in these topics.

Also, work on the amount of content on your website - through regular blogging and adding more pages - that gives Google more reasons to keep checking your website and crawling it again:

Google loves written content, so blogging regularly can help you improve your SEO. 

Image alt tags - make sure to add descriptive SEO friendly alt tags to each new image you upload. That’s a great way to improve your SEO [Google will be able to understand what each image represents] and make your website more accessible for the users who browse with images switched off.

Consider also adding Google Analytics - it’s a great way to track your progress and see where your traffic is coming from:

Hello @taikikobayashi, I hope you are doing good! Yes, the message seems good and it's clear. That's great, really appreciate that. But I would recommend it displaying in a more better & attractive way. You can use an attractive image. Here is the feedback about your store:-

- Display collections- product recommendations- testimonials- newsletter signup box- Instagram feed.

The first fold of the website should always have a call to action in it - And here’s why; in most cases placing the CTA above the fold works wonders for your campaigns. This placement immediately draws your visitors’ attention to your CTA which is always good for conversions. 

Start using loyalty programs for customers for every action they take on your store. A loyalty program entices your visitors to keep engaged with your product and website. In Fact, you can rewards loyalty points to your store visitors when they "allow" your push notification opt-in or when they share your store on social media and a lot of other activities.

- Set up Newsletter Subscription with automatic emails with thankyou and discount coupon.

- Add a referral program. Referral marketing is a cost-effective way to gain new and loyal customers. Because people are social creatures, individuals that are referred to your company are much more likely to remain loyal customers.
