Hi, I have launched my store it's only three days old RELICBEAST.com. I just wanted to get some feedback on my store, I sent out a facebook ad +24hrs ago. I've targeted the US, UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. I need to know if the theme I chose is good for the store type and also if the store is visually strong enough to interest my audience.

Also do I need to change my default currency from ZAR (South African Rand) to USD?

All sorts of advise is welcome :)

Thanks.

Hello,

I just had look into your website, It's looking good. I observed few points on your website, I hope those are helpful for your store.
Avoid broken images on your website like https://snag.gy/RlcfzL.jpg.
I observed your items contains only specifications you can add the description of items, An elegantly composed item description clarifies the advantages of the item and persuades the customer that they need the item as well as need it. Your item description is the one you need to catch their eye to in light of the fact that it can without much of a stretch pull in them and influence them to put in a request.
I would suggest including item reviews too, as reviews for customers to share their positive experience thus different customers can see the reviews and be influenced to purchase.
Since customers are critical, giving previous customers a chance to end up your backers can enable you to pick up their certainty. That, as well as you can get awesome bits of knowledge, bring down your arrival rates and increment activity to your site.
You can add trust badges on your cart page. It checks to visitors that a site is genuine. Information is gathered by the outsider trust seal organization that affirms that the business is valid.

Thanks,
Appfreaker.

Hello,

Congratulation for your store. I have gone through your store and hope the following suggestion will help you.

1. Optimize your store loading speed for mobile and desktop

2. Need to work on design

3. Optimize your product landing page

4. Optimize your store for SEO

6. Add blog section.

As your targeted countries are different than South Africa, it is better to use USD.

There are other areas you need to work

Hi @Ovayo

First impression after looking at your store, I felt the focus was too broad. Apparel, collectibles and tech somehow don't go together in my opinion. You should probably track how it converts and then consider focusing only on a particular niche like collectibles. As for apparel, you need to have an aesthetic appeal in the brand to get people to buy otherwise there is just too much competition.

The store design overall is simple but did not find it visually appealing. The slider image should be more appealing, the text in the slider image should be bigger and a different font. You can consider taking the help of a designer maybe and look at some stores like https://www.manitobah.com/ for inspiration.

I totaly agree with you @vinayak2507, I'm a developer/ designer myself and I believe I'll get the design in a good place eventually, I keep working on it daily. As far as my offering, with Apparel, Collectibles and Tech I sort of want to target an audience similar to https://www.urbanoutfitters.com/.

@vinayak2507  I spent time looking at https://www.manitobah.com/ wow the niche is clear on this site. I'm struggling understanding my niche I think.

I hear you @Ovayo. I did check out urban outfitters and I get what you're talking about. They seem to have done a good job of bringing all the different product categories together under the umbrella term of lifestyle.

But I'm not sure how even they started out, did they gradually expand into more product categories or were they always offering multiple products?

Personally, I feel it's better to start from a small niche and gradually grow that if needed. I would prefer buying collectibles from a collectibles site and apparel from an apparel site.
