I am looking for feedback on my online store before running my first Google Shopping campaign.

I am particularly looking for feedback on how I present my product PB01 https://pb-mobler.com/products/side-table-pb01, but I will appreciate feedback regarding the whole site.

As for the products page : 

-I like that you offer very nice and professionally made images. Also, it is great that you say the estimated delivery date. 

-I recommend writing bigger and fuller product descriptions. since that is a great opportunity to use keywords. 

-Add a review section for gaining social proof 

-Maybe an upselling gallery on the bottom of the page will help sell more similar items 

-If possible, consider adding a photo of how the product looks in the room, so the size can be seen better. 

 

The overall site feedback: 

-The homepage is not very informative and has an inconvenient structure. Make sure you have a hero banner that resonates with your brand, yet looks nice. 

Implement an opportunity to log in and sign up using Social Media account. We all have accounts at least in one social media. And if I have an opportunity to create an account just with one click, I will do it. having an easier way to Sign in will help you gather customer base. The most valuable thing for a company is the customer

 

-Social media has become a huge thing nowadays. I highly recommend taking advantage of that and adding Instagram galleries on your homepage. It will help drive traffic from your site on to your account and vice versa.

 

-When it comes to single-item stores it might be challenging driving traffic and have sales because the market for that product might not be too big. That is why, I advise to work partnership with other companies that sell complimentary products or services.

You've done a great job on the presentation of the product PB01, although the title itself possible leaves a little to be desired. Could you make the title more descriptive at all?

The copy and description though seem pretty enticing, the images are great, and you've got dynamic checkout set up to allow customers to go straight to purchase if they like.

In terms of the store as a whole, I think you've got a great mission and vision, but unless customers click on the About section, they don't realize that you are trying to change the way customers shop! You should highlight the fact that you are on a mission to create sustainable, long-lasting, quality furniture, and that you have zero Co2 emissions in the whole supply chain!

For example, Naadam put their sustainability front and center of their brand with a video about their purpose. Obviously, it doesn't need to be as high production value starting off, hell it doesn't even need to be a video, but the point is to really emphasize this unique selling point of yours.

One final detail: why not set up a favicon?

This is a really cool feature and it makes the page look a lot more trustworthy and professional. The favicon is the little logo you see in the tabs on your browser.

Follow the below listed tips for a more professional store look:

  • The promo offer "Buy 2 and Get 15% Discount" should be highlighted in bold on the product page.
  • "Home" button is missing from the header menu beginning.
  • Align all the "footer links" vertically for symmetric placement.
  • "Professional Hero Banner" is a must below the header menu for a decent site view.
  •  You can also install one of the most popular app Growwave which is all in one marketing platform that helps store owners increase conversions with ease.
  • Filters are very important for customers in order to identify the correct product from the huge catalog. So, you should look for advanced filter options for your store.
  • Finally, I would also recommend you to try Sparq product filters and search to replace the default search on your store, this app allows advanced custom tag product filters for collection pages, synonyms, spelling correction, and other such features. Visitors with the search are high intent users and their conversion rate is higher than normal users.

Congratulations on your store page! I hope you are well and are safe in these difficult times. 

Most things on the store have been done right. I saw a couple of things that could be made better though, so I thought I'd share them with you. 

  1. When we reach your homepage, it's very difficult to tell what your store is really about. You should add photos of the product - benefits of it and also, if possible testimonials of people using your brand. That gives the user clarity on what they will ultimately get.
  2. Add the Contact us and About Us links even in the footer section. That makes those sections easily accessible from anywhere. 
  3. You can also add information about the shipping policy in the footer section. Right now it's available only on the product description page.
  4. It's great that your brand is a zero emission based one. I think this is something that you can have on your homepage - you will attract the right kind of audience immediately.
  5. If you do want to highlight a sale or things like 'zero carbon emission' or 'free shipping', another way of doing that could be to add product labels to your images. The Shopify app store is source of some really good apps that can add this kind of a focus to your store. You can always look up some styles here.

Hey there, 

 

Hope you're doing well and safe. 

 

I must say what a delight it was to stumble upon your website. I think the designing and layout looks amazing and the store is very easy to navigate. You are definitely headed in the right direction design wise. 

 

I have a few recommendations, I hope my insights will be of help to you. 

 

1. Add a hero image to your homepage with a main call to action button. 

 

2. You must use live chat. There’s no way around it. If people have questions, they need it answered while they are still on your site. You can set up auto invites to trigger when certain criteria is met.

 

3. Reviews on Product Page - Add a section for customer reviews when you get them. This helps build social proof and makes it easier for people to trust your brand. Ask past customers for reviews is a great way to get this started. 

 

4. Length of pages - Your homepage and product single page is long and would also be needing a scroll to top button so that the viewers can easily go up to the top of your page with just one click. Providing you with a link of an app that does this best. Scroll to top

 

5. Lastly, as per my opinion, you need to create a some urgency and social proof on your store. And I sincerely think you need to add a top announcement on your store which shows urgency and you can display your announcements like "free shipping",etc. on them. I highly recommend Superbar

 

Social proof will help your visitors see who all has bought your products and that increases the trust of the viewer on your product. You can use the same app (Superbar) it provides you tools like a countdown timer, geolocation, etc. I’ll be adding links of a few apps that you could use for social proof as well below. 

 

For example, I'm sure you've seen how amazon creates urgencies in sales by showing the number of products left, upcoming sales, or drive sales by showing how quickly they have to order an item to get quick delivery, right down to the minute. 

 

If you want to sell more, boosting the sense of urgency in your marketing is the way to go. Making people feel as if they’re about to miss out on or lose a great opportunity is a powerful way to drive conversions.

 

One parting tip: like many other techniques, the urgency is best used in moderation. Don’t try to put pressure on your potential customers all the time, or they’ll stop taking your offers seriously. 

 

Instead, focus on periodically offering great deals that really are limited. I'm providing you some other app links that might be useful.

I just had a look at your store, your store looks really great. I have a few suggestions for you hope they might help you.

 

  • Adding trust badges can also impact on your customers to buy a product. Trust badges will let your customers know that your site is safe to share your personal information, add their cards for payments so most of the business is using trust badges nowadays to let their customers know that there site very safe.
  • There is no reviews option on your product page, try adding that feature so that your customers can easily find the best products and also it helps your customers to trust the product.
  • There are only a few products on your store, try adding more products so that your customers will have a lot of options to select.
