Looking for feedback on my shop

Hi,

 

I opened Sadie & Daisy, a unique bag boutique in June 2019.  It has been slow to get traffic and slow to get any ads to cart.  I have run some Facebook ads that have helped this, but I am not getting sales.  I recently added a Contact Us page to the main menu and organized the menu a little with a dropdown.  I also added an area for customers to add reviews, but this is hard because I have many one of a kind bags.  

 

I would love any suggestions I can get to help my store look better and help me convert ads to cart to sales.  My store is at sadieanddaisy.com or sadie-daisy.myshopify.com.  This post box will not let me add a link to my store.

you are missing (or not obvious)
1. Location?
2. Shipping Info - Prices and Times

3. The Core Legal Policies that you are requred to have arent obvious
4. Return and Refund Information 

5. Payment Logos at the Base of the page 

6. Product Review and Testimonials

 

AN Instagram feed would be good at the bottom of the hiome page
You need more products and tell the story   - about your ethics and your bags - on the front page

Who is you r target audience - there doenst appear to be a running theme or niche  - i beleive this is the key to sucess 

Im just a novice too - good luck - i love that Purple bag - are you dropshipping? I would like to know where you get it ! It goes with my current niche thee which is rave!

The donations you do is something awesome that should be displayed more on the website. About 90% of people would want to contribute to a good cause when buying a product.

 

Also a few areas you need to work on

  • Home Page (flow)
  • Site Navigation
  • Footer Page 
  • Policy Pages 
  • Product Pricing 

I'll email you something now going into more detail on how you can improve on these areas. So look out for that.

You definitely need to make more efforts to make your store look professional and trustworthy. Your store does not have any information on shipping, return and exchange. The product pictures, well, are not very attractive. You also need to improve the user experience. Too much empty space. Get ride of the event page since there're no events coming up.

Thank you so much for all of your help! You made so many great points. I
can't believe I did not have any of my policies showing on the homepage. I
don't know how I missed that. I am learning a lot and still getting used
to making things show up properly on my website.

I do not currently do dropshipping. I contact each of the artisans that
make my products personally or contact companies that I want to work with.
It is a very small business.

I have an about page that talks about Sadie & Daisy. I am not sure where I
should tell the story or talk about ethics further. I used to have the
about page on the homepage instead of part of the menu at the top of the
page. Maybe I should go back to that?

Hi,

Thank you for your help and suggestions. I realize I need help with making
the website more professional and trustworthy but was not sure where to
begin. This gives me lots of ideas. I can't believe I was missing so many
obvious things. Could you tell me how the pictures could be more
attractive? Would you suggest lifestyle pictures? I do not have the
budget to have a photographer so I either have to take the pictures myself
or get them from the people I buy the bags from.
