Hi there! Maggie, Shopify Expert here :)

Congratulations on your new online store, it’s a great niche! I love the name and the logo.

It’s perfect that you are informing visitors about the free shipping offer on orders over $25 - excellent!

Your header area is overstretched as your logo takes quite a lot of space. It means that the header takes a substantial space ‘above the fold’ - the area in your store that converts the best, and pushes the vital parts of your website [content, products, policies] down the page and out of view.

Consider resizing the logo [to about 50px height] and reuploading it again to reduce the size of the header area. It will then lift the website content up and will help you improve your conversion rate.

Also, your logo is a little bit blurry at the moment - it feels like it being stretched out by the template:

Resizing it should fix this issue.

Product page - your titles are SEO friendly, which is excellent; consider also writing longer and more detailed product descriptions for each item. Make sure to really sell it to the visitor and help them visualize the benefits and the design. Great, enticing product descriptions can significantly help you boost your sales.

Also remember to use storytelling to convert visitors into buyers. Listing features no longer works as a viable selling technique, you have to list the benefits the product will bring into the buyers' lives’ in order to sell more than your competitors. This short video explains how storytelling can help you sell more: https://www.rockpapercopy.com/storytelling-in-product-descriptions/

Consider making your URLs more SEO-friendly. Your current URLs are too long: https://nspiredjewelry.com/products/men-bracelet-natural-moonstone-bead-tibetan-buddha-bracelet-chak...

It’s difficult for the search engines to read and understand them, which makes it more challenging for them to rank your site in the most relevant search results. Make sure to make your URLs shorter and easier to understand, like this: https://nspiredjewelry.com/products/men-moonstone-bracelet

Can you see why the shorter URL is easier to read and understand? Optimizing your URLs this way can help you improve your SEO further. You can change URLs [handles] by editing the SEO section of each product [bottom of the page when editing product].

About us page - consider adding more content to this page. It’s a great place to introduce yourself and tell your visitors who’s behind the scenes. This page is perfect for building trust, so don’t miss out on the opportunity to build a rapport with your customers. Trust plays a huge role for online shoppers - people love to know who they are buying from and a great About us page can help you earn extra points and improve your conversion rate. Make sure to add a photo of yourself and your team and tell your visitors some interesting fact about each of the team members. Please see 25 examples of engaging and creative About us pages: https://www.searchenginejournal.com/about-us-page-examples/250967/

Shipping policy - you mention at the beginning that all orders are processed within 48 hours and will arrive within 4 to 10 days:

However right below you mention that some items can take longer to arrive - it feels very misleading. You cannot mention that ALL orders will arrive within 10 days, if some products take longer.

Also, you do not mention if you ship only within one country or abroad. Worldwide shipping will take considerably longer, so it’s worth mentioning it here too. The more information you add to your Shipping policy, the better. People will feel more confident buying from you.

As your shipping policy is very vague at the moment it doesn’t answer basic questions people have before placing an order:

  • Do you ship to their country
  • How much is the shipping on orders below $25
  • Do you track orders
  • Do you deliver to work address
  • Do you send regular updates as to order being despatched
  • Do you ship to all locations, i.e. military base, P.O. box, rural areas, developing countries etc.

Covering these areas will help you build trust and authority as a professional business and assure your visitors to placing an order with you. Any confusion can definitely kill sales - people rather shop somewhere else if they don’t have the info provided, then take a risk placing an order. Make sure to add more info here.

Please find below a guide on how to create excellent shipping policy: https://www.termsfeed.com/blog/sample-shipping-policy-template/

‘Start a Return’ on your Returns policy takes me to an error page: https://nspiredjewelry.myshopify.com/admin/online-store/pages/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Make sure to update the link with your returns request form, as that can also affect your trust and conversion rate.

Social media - make sure to open the icons on your website in new tabs, so you don’t lose valuable traffic. Please check this helpful guide: https://help.shopify.com/en/themes/customization/navigation/open-external-links-in-new-browser

Your Instagram icon links to a personal profile with no posts - remember to have a separate profile for your business to build your professional branding. Also, there’s no need to link to a profile you won’t be updating regularly, as that can give an impression the store is inactive, which can also affect your sales.

Your homepage Google snippet [meta title + meta description] is not defined yet:

Make sure to have a more specific meta title [keep it below 65 characters limit too] - it also has a small typo.

Meta description at the moment is a string of keywords, which might actually hurt your ranking. Make sure to use it to describe your business and your products and prompt people to click your listing.

Google snippet is displayed in the search results and is often the first element people see when they find you in Google. Make sure to optimize it to get people’s attention with the right CTA and prompt them to click your listing and your competitors.

Also, work on the amount of content on your website - through regular blogging and adding more pages - that gives Google more reasons to keep checking your website and crawling it again:

Google loves written content, so blogging regularly can help you improve your SEO.

Blogging is powerful - it helped me get to Google page #1 in only four days with this blog post: Breadcrumbs in SEO: https://www.rockpapercopy.com/breadcrumbs-seo/

Image alt tags - make sure to add descriptive SEO friendly alt tags to each new image you upload. That’s a great way to improve your SEO [Google will be able to understand what each image represents] and make your website more accessible for the users who browse with images switched off.
