New store - New to Shopify - Feedback please

I hope anyone reading this is doing well and keeping healthy during these unusual times across the globe!

I recently migrated my store from WooCommerce to Shopify and we launched yesterday so, having read through this thread on multiple occasions, I know many people are amazingly providing feedback.

I'm not a developer and this is a side project for me so, any feedback would be great!

The store is:

Any suggestions welcome as I'm keen to get this right!

Great job on your store so far. It looks very well organized and professional, everything is laid out nicely and you have great photos.

All of your hard work definitely deserves to be seen which is why I recommend spending some time on your SEO so that your products are showing up in search results. By default, Shopify will take your product title and the description and add that into your SEO which doesn't work great for being found by your intended audience. Here is an example of one of your products:

Have seen your site and it looks amazing, very professional.

However, I still have some suggestions for you:

- On your banners, it would be great if you can have more than one banner. Some more banners that are related to your collections would be great. 

- You can try to add the Buy now down there. 


- There are different collections, so they should have different thumbnails. 


- On your product pages, I think you should add:

+ The Buy now button 

+ Description should have materials and size section. 

+ A sticky add to cart bar

+ More upsell and cross-sell methods


- Have seen your Instagram account and it has so much good content and many beautiful product photos. So you can think about having an Instagram gallery for your store. 

Check this app Shoppable Instagram Gallery. It will help you create one with ease. And this is a shoppable gallery, so it can increase your sales. 

- Consider having live chat support to improve customer service. WhatsApp can be a good channel to chat with your customers. 

App WhatsApp Chat & Abandoned Cart will help you do that with ease. Also, it's totally free.

Add a blog page, blog page helps you to share more about your website and products which increases your site visibility.Your e-commerce blog will not only drive more traffic to your website—but it will increase your conversions too. Your blog will make you feel more credible and relatable, which will provide new clients with a greater sense of confidence in their purchases.

90% of people read reviews before purchasing an item. I personally do not read the description too much, I go straight on to the reviews section because that is social proof. In my opinion that is essential for every site. I highly recommend (almost insist) and adding that feature on your site. Social media has become a huge thing nowadays. I highly recommend taking advantage of that and adding Instagram galleries on your homepage. It will help drive traffic from your site on to your account and vice versa.

Hello @MyAsianWedding, the store looks very amazing! Looks you have put lots of effort into it. Here are some inputs from my side:

  • Make your store easy to navigate by creating a drop-down menu in the header.
  • Add about us page.
  • On the homepage, the image of Pret collection & formal collection is the same. Add different images.

Some eCommerce marketing tools that are essential to add to engage your customers and increasing retention rate by reducing the bounce rate are:-

  • Add loyalty reward program- You can give loyalty points to your customers on activities like visiting your store, signing up, follow or share on social media, allowing for push notifications, reviews, and many more. This will entice your customers and help you to get more email subscribers, push subscribers, collect more reviews. They will come again to your store to make a purchase in order to redeem those points which will double the sales and retention.
  • Add a web push notification - It turns visitors into subscribers and subscribers into customers. It’s a powerful and effective marketing tool adopted by online businesses to reach out to and interact with their audience, keep them updated about any important information, announcing sales and offers, and eventually driving more eCommerce conversions.
  • Add a referral program, it helps in increasing sales and creates brand awareness. You can ask your customers to refer a product to their friends and family. Thank you so much! I've added the buy now buttons as suggested but, have struggled adding them onto the collection/product catalogue which is on the home page where you see the products i.e. New Arrivals - any help with this would be amazing - I'm using the Turbo theme if that helps?

I'm looking into the WhatsApp/Livechat option now too and also the instagram app.
