Hi, there!

There are a number reasons why you may not be getting sales yet. It could be as simple as improving your checkout process or building some trust features into your online store.

If you response with your URL I'd be happy to take a closer look for you and offer some suggestions!

Looking forward to helping.

I try to sale two products

1) https://aloofproducts.com/collections/something-unique/products/painless-dogs-nail-clipper

2) https://aloofproducts.com/collections/something-unique/products/dog-leash-for-two

Not sure what I am doing wrong. I also have Hotjar so I can view user experience. I notice a lot of sessions just ended within 20 seconds and the user does not scroll to the description. Not even scrolling images.

Too little details. Where did you get that 2000 sessions from? Did you buy them? Please send link to store and provide more analytics for a better answer.

Hi @adi23453

I just took a look at your store and I think it looks really good. There are just a few minor things that I might consider changing

One thing you might want to add is a blog. If you had a blog more customers might be able to find your site, and even if they aren't ready to buy at the moment they are reading your blog, they are more likely to buy from you in the future.

After carefully reviewing I don't see a sense of urgency. One of the main reasons why people don't buy from a store is because they feel like they can buy it whenever. A big thing that can help more of your visitors be turned into buyers would be by adding a sense of urgency to your store. One way to add urgency is to have a sale, and all sales need an end date. You can easily add a sale to your store with a countdown timer. One countdown timer that I recommend is https://apps.shopify.com/better-countdown .

Another thing to consider is adding social media links. If you add some social media accounts to your store like Facebook or Instagram, it will help build trust with your store and help get more customers

But seriously your store is actually really great, and I think just a few minor tweaks could really go a long way.

P.S. I created an email course at https://mailchi.mp/7d8692283c12/shopify-conversion-course, after reviewing a bunch of stores I noticed that there are a few tips that might help, and I created an email list to help with it.

Hi again, thanks for the URL!

You have a really nice looking website and a good selection of products. To add to the recommendations above, I would suggest double checking your spelling throughout the website - for example the word products in your menu. Spelling errors can diminish the professionalism and trust of a website and it's enough to turn people away. Also, be mindful of areas that may look incomplete, such as the newsletter area which still contains a suggestion heading.

I also recommend using some of these methods to optimize your loading speeds - especially since you are using large, high resolution imagery. Try to be wary of crowding your homepage with too many add-ons. Getting feedback is always going to be beneficial but feedback isn't going to be relevant until a customer completes their checkout. Instead of a feedback button on the front page, try an app like Checkout Comments  which prompts your customers for a review as they complete their purchase.

Finally, consider adding some checkout incentive with tools like scarcity (ex. only X products left in stock) or urgency (ex. only 18 hours left to get this deal) to help encourage those conversions. We have a great selection of tools to work with in our app store. To understand why these tools can be effective, check out this great blog post on the topic - While Supplies Lasts.
