Brand new here and I think I'm getting a good feel for what to do. I have my store mostly set up (not open yet} and the problem I'm facing so far is finding a drop shipper that will print my calendar.
Is vistaprint an option here? Wal-mart? Thanks in advance for any feedback, suggestions, advice, etc.
I think I've seen a app that can do this but can't remember what it was called.
Why don't you get say 20 made and ship them out yourself ? Just to test things out while you're trying to find someone great that can do it.
Also this way you can take some awesome images with your products for the website etc.
Thanks, Clayton. That's the same solution I arrived at finally yesterday. I can only afford one at a time right now, but that will have to work until something else happens.
How bad do you want it this business to work ? Two things you need. Time and cash flow. This is what I did and hopefully can inspire you to go for it if that's what you want in life.
2014 I didn't have much spare cash to start my business so I sold stuff on eBay until I had the $2,000 I needed. All of 2015 ever dollar I got from the business went back into the business. By the end of 2016 I had over 50k inventory and had done over ten thousand online orders. 2017 I went overseas and pretty much bought my house because of my shopify & eBay store. 2019 Shopify made me an expert.
Moral of the story is we all start somewhere. It's all one step at a time. Hopefully one day you can look back at the last 5 years like I did and see how far you have come.
Thanks for getting back, Clayton. I really appreciate it. I sent Vistaprint an email yesterday and asked them what kind of deal they can give me. You never know if you don't ask. I've had two strokes, a heart attack, cancer (twice) and I'm diabetic. Not to bitch, I'm just never sure how much longer I get to play around here. ;)
I'm in it for the long haul. I have a daughter that could use an inheritance. If I have to pitch $20 or $40 or $60 a month in I can. I paint. There has to be a way to market what I do, and I believe e-commerce is it.
I have gone through your site. Though it looks good, there are quite a few things missing on your store which if added can really make a lot of difference to the user experience, conversion rate and your overall sales.
