Hey guys i've been working hard over the past few months trying different things to get my store just right. I seem to get a lot of people to the checkout but no conversions. Any help would be great. My site is phantomattraction.com.
I look forward to your replies.

Hi there,

Here are some quick tips:

  • You have a cool store name. I'm expecting something mysterious, a little underground, but instead I get a hodge podge of beachwear for both genders.
  • Speaking of hodge podge, you need to narrow down your selection and find a niche ASAP. The beachwear "genre" is extremely saturated, and it's going to be super hard, as a small, new online business, to get the kind of reach where you can easily and successfully maket to both genders. In theory, everyone needs beachwear, but that's a nightmare as far as marketing concerned if you're trying to appeal to that "everyone" crowd, because, in practice, it doesn't exist.
  • Your images are inconsistent. Clean, sharp, consistent images really tie the look of your store together and help make it seem more approachable and professional.
  • I hate the "Spin to Win" things, but that's just me.
  • Your website design needs a little pizzazz. Liven it up a little. It's missing that special something that will draw the customer in visually.
  • After the customer is drawn in visually, they need a real reason to buy from you. What makes you stand out? What's your story?
  • Your product pages need some work. Keep it simple and only include information that's entirely relevant to that particular product. Keep size charts easily accessible as a link, not as an image.
  • Copywriting could use some work.
  • Policies need to be customized so that they're more cohesive. You're not selling flowers, so don't tell customers you don't accept flower returns.

Hope this helps!

Hi Phantom2019,

General
  • The header will be smaller, and the website content below will become visible above the fold.
  • I spotted was that there is no contact us page. A contact us page is something I would recommend as it shows your store visitors that you are open to being contacted in any situation and that you are making it as simple as possible for people to contact you should they need to and further adding/ building the trust barrier with your store.
Homepage
  • If the social media icons/links at the footer can be opened at the new tab instead of the same tab upon click. This will ensure your visitors/customers stay on your store while checking out your social media presence.
  • I noticed that you have a newsletter subscription box. I would suggest adding a bonus (such as a discount code) to entice your site visitor to sign up.
Product
  • Product descriptions need to do more than simply describe the product. Product descriptions need to sell your products! Your customers should feel like they need that product after reading your product description.
  • Remove "Secured and trusted checkout" on each product page as this does not help your brand. Put it in the footer if you want to keep it.

Hope you found this helpful, if so please click "like" below to let me know.

Hi,

Thanks for your awesome comments on my store it really helps a lot.

1. I went with beachwear as I was thinking the summer season was coming up and this would be something everyone would be looking for.

2. what do you mean by the images are inconsistent, should i use the same amount of images on each product and start with someone wearing the product?

3. Do you think it is best that i remove the spin to win.. i seem to have trouble building an email list so i thought that may be a good way to collect emails.

4. pizzazz? what could i use to draw the customer in.. any ideas?

5. I'm struggling with the what makes you stand out part. The majority of people using shopify are dropshipping aren't they, so how do you make yourself stand out of the crowd?

6. What information should i include on the product pages, do you have a template that i could work from at all?

7. What do you mean by copywriting could need some work?

Sorry For all of the questions but any help is most appreciated.

Thanks
