Hi all! I'm brand new to drop shipping, and I'm having a tough time getting my first sales. I'm doing some troubleshooting so I wanted to get some feedback on my store to figure out if where my issues are. Any feedback is appreciated! https://blessed-flamelily.com/

Hey Blessed-Flamelily,

The logo needs to be somehow magnified so that the text in it is clearly visible. It should be shifted slightly leftwards while the Search and Cart button towards the right for a structured and well-defined header look. Some other suggestions for store improvement are as follows:

  1. Favicon is missing, which gives a unique identity to the site.
  2. I would love to see an Account login/sign-in system, as it is a must for an ecommerce.
  3. Login, when added, should be placed beside the cart and search bar for a more systematic header view.
  4. Bestsellers need to be added to depict site peculiarity.
  5. Seperate "Sale" section needs to be added for all discounted products.
  6. Instagram images and testimonials need to be added for better brand promotion.
  7. Reviews need to be placed below each product to improve customer choice.
  8. You can also install one of the most popular app Growwave which is all in one marketing platform that helps store owners increase conversions with ease.
  9. Finally, I would also recommend replacing the default search with an advanced search like Sparq which allows synonyms, advanced custom tag filters, spelling correction, and other such features. Visitors with search are high intent users and their conversion rate is higher than normal users.

1. The first fold of the website should always have a call to action in it - 

And here’s why; in most cases placing the CTA above the fold works wonders for your campaigns. This placement immediately draws your visitors’ attention to your CTA which is always good for conversions. 

2. You need to engage your visitors coming on your site by giving loyalty reward points which will increase repeat purchase and customer lifetime value, chatbot, email marketing, web push notification, reviews and many other. It will help you to run your store smoothly and decrease the bounce rate. 

3. If your store is engaging then it will help you to reduce Customer Churn Rate i.e percentage of customers who stop purchasing from your brand and will also increase your customer retention.

-> You have less in niche. You can increase your niche.
-> I see one of your item in view page, there is no specifications and descriptions you can add the specifications and description of items, An elegantly composed item description clarifies the advantages of the item and persuades the customer that they need the item as well as need it. Your item description is the one you need to catch their eye to in light of the fact that it can without much of a stretch pull in them and influence them to put in a request.
-> You can add the item reviews, Item reviews can help give customers that additional propel they have to confide in your online shop and finish their buy. I would suggest including item reviews too, as reviews for customers to share their positive experience thus different customers can see the reviews and be influenced to purchase.
-> Your website social media pages are not available check it and add it.

Hello KinD21 !!

 

I’ve gone through your store and found that there are quite a few things missing on your store which if added can really make a lot of difference to the user experience, conversion rate and your overall sales. Here is a page-by-page/sectional review of your site:

 

Header & Footer :

Customize your header and footer with specific functionalities. Your header should offer a smart search bar where people can type in the products they’re looking for, Login icon is missing for buyer to create account before purchasing Favicon is also missing which creates a identity in web page.  Example of Good Header 

Also, create a slide out cart, a cart icon with item calculator and let your social links open in a new tab so your customers don’t have to leave your store to check your social media pages. Footer can be more professional and functional , add security badges in footer section for the store security purpose . Your newsletter must be highlighted so people who follow can have the your brand can subscribe to receive more updates.

 

Home Page :

A lot can be done to your homepage to make it more informative & attractive. Add hero banner with prompt CTA buttons that syncs well with your store theme & branding. This banner should include info like free shipping, offers/deals like 50% off, etc. Below the hero banner, create categories for all your products in a slider that engages customers. Your Unique value proposition should be highlighted on your homepage, Customer testimonial carousel must be there. Announcement bars, product slideshows, featured collections, display instagram feed and make your homepage SEO friendly to increase your site traffic and conversions.  Example of Nice Home page  

 

Collection Page :

Your customer views this page to have an in-depth view of the products and services you offer. Make sure this page has a creative banner to enhance the visual appeal of your store, product reviews of all the products in your store, infinite scrolling to increase page views,,2nd image on Hover,announcement bars for highlighting promotions, events, deals and product labels like % off, ‘New Arrival’, ‘Sold Out’, etc.  Example of Good Collection Page

  

Product Page :

There must be separate interactive and user-friendly product page with features like  product zoom in, product reviews, related products, unique product titles/descriptions, cart drawer and a sticky cart with a sticky add to cart and buy now button. Example of Ideal Product Page

Integrations on your store :

How do you plan to monitor your site performance and track conversions? 

Simply set up and integrate Google Analytics, Facebook Conversion tracking and Google Search Console with your store and get to know who is visiting your store, their demographics, which of your Facebook page viewer converts into your buyer and your store’s ranking, impressions & clicks  on Google. 

 

Besides these tracking methods, make sure the following is included on your store:

  1. Include live chat option that is visible on every page of your store to keep your customers happy and retain them.
  2. Sale pop up for creating the urgency for the buyer to buy the products
  3. There needs to be a strong color coordination among all the colors used on your store. Try to use the same or similar colors used in your logo throughout your store and in the social media business page banner or cover picture you create.
  4. Create a sense of urgency with countdown timer, ‘only 1 left’ features  and promotional banners highlighting ‘sale expiry’.
  5. Ensure your store speed is optimized. You can do this by checking your google page speed score. Minify codes that are redundant or apps that are slowing down the site speed.  Make your site mobile-friendly. Sample
  6. Optimize your user experience with easy navigation, proper spacing, alignment, font and color coordination.

First of all, Congratulations on your new store!  I had a quick look at your store and some of the pages. I can see that you have great collection of products.

 

Here are some ideas you might want to consider :

1) Information about Shipping, Returns & Refund should be there as they're all very important to have and increase trust with shoppers.

2) Setup Referral programs, Provide discounts to attract more customers.

3) You may want to think about adding product reviews. Reviews are essential for any eCommerce store as it helps sell more and creates immediate trust with shoppers. Be sure to check out our review app.
