Review my store and suggest improvements

Hi guys,

This is my store wittyspirit.com. I have made multiple designs and have been running facebook ad campaigns using instagram placements. My concern is that i am getting around 23k impressions and 100 link clicks but none is getting converted to sales. And also around 5-7 people reach till checkout for each campaign. kindly suggest proper improvements that can be done to convert these customers.

Hi @Vaibhs11, this is Opinew - Effortless Product Review App. Here are some comments I would like to add about your store:

The Header: Your header is already sticky which is good. But you can still improve it by showing the full search bar, it should be useful for customers to find the search easier.

The Homepage

Banner: You are showing 3 banners which are not enough. The banner images are not so good and not attractive to customers. You should consider new designs for banners. The CTAs on each banner is also important, every banner should have at least one CTA.

The Product list(should have): you can add a list of the product on this page. Customers can make actions like checking product information or adding to cart on the Homepage without going to the product page.

Featured Product (should have): this section is just like the product list but only focuses on one product, which can be useful to boost this product’s sales. A countdown timer can be useful to urge customers to make decisions faster.

Testimonials section (need improvement): the testimonial section does not have the image content. This is a fashion store so your customers’ image review should be very useful.

Your Product page: 

The product images: you are using stock images which are not effective anymore. Try to take your own pictures with the products, it can be useful to prove the products’ source and quality.

Review sections (need improvement): this is one of the most essential sections on the Product page. Just like the testimonial sections, the section does not have the image content or any other reviews. You can encourage customers to write reviews by giving them discounts or any other rewards.

Color Swatches (should have): it is a must-have feature on any fashion store. The swatches should improve the page’s visual and the customer's experience when purchasing.

Delivery date (should have): customers need to see the day they can receive the product. So try to give them a shipping date on the Product page.

Cross-sell and Upsell: you can try more strategies to sell your product. For example: selling with discounts when customers buy in a bundle.

Hope you are doing well.

I understand how it can be frustrating to be doing everything right but still not getting your traffic converted to sales. You may find comfort in knowing that you're not the only one on that boat. Millions of Shopify store owners are facing the same problem. This is not because you are necessarily doing something wrong, but rather because Sales is an organic process, involving people getting to know you, visiting your brand, looking at your products, comparing them with others, and finally making the decision to purchase from you. So this takes some time, during which you have to hold on tight. But, you can't be just passively waiting for sales to grow, so I would recommend you look at these tips and see which ones you can use: You have great faith in your online shop, but why aren’t visitors converting?

Another Thing you could consider: Not all traffic is good traffic.

Traffic will only have any chance of converting to sales if they are being generated by the right consumer. If your product is for females under the age of 30, but your ads are being viewed by males over 50, that is a lot of traffic, but it will never convert to sales. So, before you spend on targeting, a good idea is to have a simple Google Trends search, that will tell you who is looking for the products you search, what is their age, gender and location. Then you can put forward some really targeted ads that are bound to generate clicks.

Here are some areas where you could consider working on

  • Add a sticky header. The headings are important to navigate the site. If the headers keep disappearing, it makes it hard to find what the customer is looking for. That is why if you make your headers sticky, the user can see them even if they have scrolled down, which makes the site more user friendly.

    You can also consider making your headings a bit bigger or bolder, so that they catch the eye more easily.

  • Your store logo might need an improvement as a company’s Logo grabs attention, makes a strong first impression, and is the foundation of your brand identity. The logo is too small and the written letters are not easily readable. Make sure your logo is attractive because that's what your customers will remember you by

  • Because this is an online store and people cannot touch and feel your products before buying them, they rely heavily on product images, which is why the images have to look top-notch.

    It's better to give a 360 degree view of your products. Try to capture pictures from multiple angles and highlight every feature so customers are clear about what they're buying.
  • A good idea is to have your newsletter as a popup so that it shows up when the customer enters the home page. This will make it more visible and attract more people to your newsletter from where you can target more interested people.

  • Use a star rating widget to let website visitors evaluate your business. They create standardization, allowing customers to compare different products easily. It also helps you get feedback about your products.

  • You will be surprised how much you can benefit from a chatbot. It can collect your necessary customer data, help you analyze which stuffs are trending or in more demand, and overall solve your problems by answering common questions so you won't have to.

  • I see that your store doesn’t have a Favicon. Having a favicon on your website is crucial. It makes your site recognizable on browser tabs, but it too gives a professional look to your website.

  • Customers read user reviews more than they read product descriptions. If they find that 50 other people have liked your product and have purchased from you, it helps your credibility and they feel safer buying from you. So try to add some reviews of your products and services to your homepage.

Just had look into your website, It's Looking Good. I observed few points on your website, I hope those are helpful for our store.
No Testimonials try to add in homepage. Testimonials are kind of like positive reviews from previous customers. The more testimonials you have, the more your visitors will assume that you must be a trustworthy company.

In product page add missing features like  Wishlist ,recently viewed products and customer reviews.

The Wishlist feature on a website allows a user to mark items they are interested in and revisit these items at a later date and they will buy. It also  drag customer intension on his favorite products and force him to buy .

It is always required to show recently viewed products to your customers in order to remind again about that product. Here we have added option to show recently viewed products to your customers even if they are not signed-in on shop and product page.

Earning points from your reward system will encourage your customers to buy more products to earn more points and eventually use these points to buy from you again. Rewarding your customers will increase the possibility for your customers to continue patronizing your products. Reward help to increase the orders, and make customers to buy the products with rewards.
You can provide rewards for Registration, subscription, Order credits, Cart Value, Item review, Monthly, Birth day, Referral and many more. Can give more credits to the favorite customers.

Social logins have as many benefits for businesses as they do for users. It reduces the number of steps between arriving on the site and buying to improve conversions. One-click logins also decrease abandonment - new users don't have yet another password to remember.
