Hey everyone, i have successfully had my store up and running for just under a year now,
Each week, I would average 1200 visits to my site, and this has been steady for approx 8 months...
Still with the same amount of traffic, I have had zero sales the last three days... Still the same amount of advertising spent, and ive had one product become sold out, which in the previous week has accounted for approx 20% of total sales...
Im freaking out :( never have i had 2 days with no sales, Id really love some feedback, on my site, on my products, the latout, whatever it could be that has halted sales....
i have looked at Analytics but cant really see where they are dropping off?
Stephen a Shopify Guru here :)
I had a look at the store and from what I can see everything looks great.
your images are in a nice uniformed size and have ALT text added to them, you also have a blog and facebook store in place, that will help the store's SEO.
I would say this is just a slump in sales the best way to combat this would be to place your repeat customer's into a customer group then create a discount for that group and send it out to them.
I would also make a smaller discount code for new customers.
Facebook ads would also help get more traffic coming on your store.
Hope that helps, feel free to drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any other questions.
Hi April! Maggie, a Shopify Partner here :)
I agree with Stephen, in business there are "quiet days" and even "quiet periods", so please take it into consideration. I realize it is not easy, and I have been the same at the beginning of the ecommerce journey. It is part of the process. I recommend doing what I usually do if that happens: spend this time on research, further self education [reading about social media marketing, SEO etc.]. Work on your website, write a blog post, reach out to Influencers etc. Do things that will move your business forward, and for which you do not have time, when you are busy answering customer enquiries and dealing with sales during peak times.
if you had any questions, please feel free to give me a shout!

Hi April! I'm sorry to hear you're having a tough time with your sales. It's good Stephen confirmed that from their perspective everything is working. When you say you've looked at your analytics but can't see where they are dropping off, where were you looking? Have you set up a goal funnel for your checkout as outlined here by Shopify:
I'd be happy to take a look at your data and see if I can possibly help you in making sense of it. I could also work with you to set up your checkout funnel and more if it hasn't been done yet!
Website is good, I found a link on the website that doesn't work correctly. In Conatct Us page FAQ's link is showing 404page, update it.
I have a link where shopify explain in detail to improve conversion. Get the link here https://www.shopify.ie/blog/53641349-6-bulletproof-ways-to-improve-conversions-on-your-product-page
Hope this might help you,
I can understand your frustration and I would really like to help here unfortunately I am not be get the website URL. Can you share the link of your site and I can review and share some insights that may help you with your issues.
May it rains customers and orders,
Why don't you address the question when she said it was working fine, getting lots of visits and sales, then all of a sudden it stopped instead of advising April on what to do after the fact. Answer the damn question: Why did it stop without her changing anything??? Did Shopify hang? Did Shopify changed manipulate the script?? Which I'm sure Shopify is capable of doing to benefit their ongoing goal in the first place which is to make all store owners to purchase more third-party apps and services from them.
That's not even the issue, the issue here is: they were doing great then all of a SUDDEN the Sales had stopped! It's happening across the board like Google and Shopify is controlling the visibility of our stores. For what reason you may ask..PAID CAMPAIGNS! Unless you spend your life savings on Ads, you won't see any more Sales unless from your Loyal customers.
