SO many abandoned carts, but WHY?

Hi friends,
I’ve been experiencing a very high abandoned cart rate on my site. I’ve tried to be very transparent on my site and through the checkout process regarding the shipping and delivery times, so I can’t figure out why people may not be wanting to purchase.

Could you take a look at my site and let me know if there’s anything you notice which may be causing this? Or if you have suggestions of something I can change? Here’s the site:

Selling an single item in existing conditions is a matter of concern. Your thought was good. Selling in a store with few thousand items are very low, how are you selling the same thing? I mean How are you getting sales from single item? Once you can think it.
Simply this is not worth for every online store. And most of visitors are not interested to stay more time on this type of store. If customers wants only your product related thing then only they will visit your store if they like then those are purchase otherwise they go to another sites. Its depends on the visitors mood.
I suggest You can increase your niche, You can improve your thought.

If you have a high abandoned cart rate then you should definitely start notifying your customers when they abandoned your cart. This can be done in many ways. You can send them an abandoned cart push notification or an abandoned cart email. This will reduce your cart abandonment. Hey Elixxir Bottle,

The header template should highlight discounts as well apart from Free shipping offers. The font color of the main menu is very light. Try adding some dark font color for it.  Other peculiar observations regarding your site are as follows:

  1. The proper order of the arrangement of sidelinks on the top right of the header is as follows: Login, Search, Cart and currency converter.
  2. The central banner should be full width in order to avoid the unwanted empty space on both sides.
  3. I would love to see an Account login/sign-in system, as it is a must for an ecommerce.
  4. Login, when added, should be placed beside the search bar, cart and currency converter for a more systematic header view.
  5. Social links need to be added for enhancing customer connectivity.
  6. Proper discounts need to be given for better customer engagement.
  7. Footer needs a little modification. The footer links should be placed to the left, newsletter to the right while the social links should be placed below both of them respectively.
  8. Reviews need to be added below the product as well on the product page for improving customer choice.
