Hey everyone!
I am looking for feedback on my company furprintz.com. We make custom pet portraits that showcase the pets personality in relation to their owner. I have done my best to create a flowing website and work to build a brand. We are gaining good traffic and have been told that our website is easy to use, but we are not able to convert any sales. Can anyone please offer advice and tips as to why we cannot convert?
Thank you!
Steve
Hi Steve,
A solid looking site, nice work! You have some nice photos, and reviews which is good. You may need to boost your social proof a bit more to attract buyers. Also, I see it is a very competitive niche, and after Christmas there is often a lull on sales for this kind of product. Doing holiday themed promotions on Facebook is a good idea. Also, using Google Shopping Ads is a low cost way to target those with buying intent. You may want to try a different angle than just portraits, like maybe pets driving cars, kitesurfing, riding bikes etc to add a humour element. Sales popups are also a good idea, to show Add to Cart and Purchases. Maybe showcase your designs with photos in their studios too... adds a human element. Also, have a contest like a free portrait to the person with the most IG or FB shares etc. Also saw shipping time of 1 to 2 weeks after design was a bit long.... I'd try to target a geography, and tighten up the shipment time. Good luck to you!

Hi @FurPrintz ,
I took a look at your site along with other feedbacks that you have received. I do think that bounce can be caused by so many criteria.
Sadly, just by changing little details in the design, it is not possible to increase sales rate significantly.
I thought I will give you some pieces of advice on three aspects:
1) Design
2) Customers
3) Benchmarking
I love how your site is built. It is very thought over and neat. The colors are calming and I would even say cozy. There is really nothing I would suggest changing.
Customers
The biggest reason of bounce is that visitors are not sure if they want to get that item, or they do need that item at all.
In your case, I would recommend driving more targeted traffic. For that you have to know where your potential audience is "located".
I suggest working in partnerships with other companies that sell complementary items or services.
If have not worked in that direction yet, here is a template offered by Shopify to help create a business plan https://www.shopify.com/blog/business-plan-template
Benchmarking
This is the best way to get inspired. A lot of the times people have faced issues like ours and just simply searching for sites like yours with high sales will do a great favor.
I myself have used benchmarking with all the startups I have had. Take advantage of that!
Hopefully, I managed to help you, if so let me know by marking this post as a solution or reply for more detailed information.
Good luck!
Chris,
Thank you so much for the kind words and the positive feedback! We are working diligently with influencers to raise our social proof. The postings are coming in every few days. We are currently running Facebook and Google targeted ads as you mentioned. I have a VDay ad running right now to try and get people to gift for Valentines Day. I love the ideas on other types of themes. I am working with our design team currently to branch out and add other themes to make us more marketable. Sadly there is not much we can do for shipping because we are working with custom designing as well as print on demand from outside facilities. I will try to work something though! Thank you again.

Hey Furprintz,
The footer needs some modification. Footer links need to be arranged vertically to the left for better placement and alignment. Some other changes to be done are as follows:
Hope the store becomes capable of converting visitors to customers very soon.

Hey @FurPrintz
You should increase the engagement on your store. Start using a loyalty program and referral program to entice your customers. It will help you build a loyal customer base. You can give loyalty points to your customers on activities like signing up, allowing for web push notifications, make a purchase, visiting a store and many more.
This will help in doubling the sales as when you give loyalty points to your customers they will come again on your store to make a purchase in order to redeem those points. You can give rewards to your customers to redeem those points.
The referral program is very helpful when it comes to good word of mouth and brand awareness. It is one of the successful marketing strategies.
Add web push notifications to retarget your customers even when they are not on your store. It also helps in bringing back losing customers to your store.
If you want to implement all these I would suggest you to install AiTrillion.com It has all the features in a single app and is a fully integrated app. It is all in one Shopify app. Plus you don't need to install multiple apps. You can check it out. I am sure you will find it useful.
