Spending money on FB Ads and getting over 30+ add to carts and checkouts but only 1 sale.

I have spent money on very professional and high quality video ads and FB ads. I have had them running with different CBOS for one week and have had over 1.1k store sessions. I need help though. I am getting about 30+ add to carts and checkouts from the ads but only had 1 sale. I think it is very smart of you to invest an amount of budget to create good advertisement quality and content, you can see the effectiveness result from the traffic you have managed to drive. However, what you might be lacking is reminding or be more informative about your brand. If your store have reached your an amount of audience you should consider set up retargeting campaigns to efficiently boost up sales. Retargeting campaigns allow you to re-engage and remind customer of your brand after leaving your website and offer product and productinformationstheyviewed with different kinds of attractive ad creatives.      1. About your homepage

  • Add more promotion (try to highlight it and include CTA button)
  • Include feature of multiple languages and currency to serve more worldwide customers

     2. About Checkout and Payment page

  • Add more shipping and payment information including email, address, shipping fee (high/low/free), etc. and diversify them
  • Diversify Thank you note, send email/make a call to notify and give them thanks

     3. About Blog page and SEO

  • Add a blog page that helps you share more about your products and increase your site visibility
  • Add SEO related high search keywords in your title and product description to be higher rank on Google Search

       4. About your conversion rate

After a thorough assessment of your store, I can see that the only thing lacking is the sales funnel for converting traffic and add to carts to purchase.

I agree with the other posters here to fix some of those issues. But right now we can only point out things we see.

There's a lot of the process we can't see.

My advice is to start tracking your data and then make the changes and see if it impacts your metrics. You need to look at it from different perspectives not just conversion rate, but bounce rate, time on page, cart abandonment rate, and product detail view rate at the minimum to understand what can be improved. We also do video replays, so you will be able to collect replay videos of your customers, journey through your website to know who, why, where your customers are dropping off. Time to stop doing guess work.

  1. Clear CTAs - help to show what to do next. Hero banner on your homepage is a key to make a connection with every visitor. You should clearly communicate what your website is about.
  2. Branding - clearly show your company branding. Logo, brand colors, brand fonts - should be the same across websites, emails, and social profiles. A key part of building your brand is making it recognizable. 
  3. Social proof - an incredibly powerful sales and lead generation tool. 
  4. Engaging images - you need them on your homepage to give visitors a sense of what your business is about. Images help you to tell a story and show visitors what they can gain from your product. For a product website think about how images can convey the value of your product and help your visitors to achieve their goals.
  5. If your website doesn’t have a blog already, make creating one a priority. But if you have a blog, it gives people a reason to keep coming back. Blogs also help improve your SEO because you’re constantly adding new content to your page.
  6. I have also found that there are only a few products in your store, try adding more products so that your customers will have a lot of options to select from.
  7. Try adding SEO related high search keywords in your title and product description so that it will be very easy to market your products and display them at the top in google search.
  8. Social media has become a huge thing nowadays. I highly recommend taking advantage of that and adding Instagram galleries on your homepage. It will help drive traffic from your site on to your account and vice versa.
  9. Implement an opportunity to log in and sign up using Social Media account. We all have accounts at least in one social media. And if I have an opportunity to create an account just with one click, I will do it. having an easier way to Sign in will help you gather customer base. The most valuable thing for a company is the customer
  10. Use a referral program that will encourage your existing customers to share your products with their friends by giving discounts if the latter have purchased something from your store. With referral programs it is important to carefully set up so that you are not giving huge discounts and not getting anything back. I just had a look at your store, and I think it looks fantastic. Usually, Cart abandonment happens due to pricing and other costs involved. I would suggest trying to focus on the In-store marketing tactics to convert these traffic into paying customers. If you can collect emails of the persons who add products to the cart, you can send them reminders through emails and Facebook messenger. There you will have a chance to customize your offers as well. Your half job is done to drive traffic to your website, and now its the opportunity to grab them and don't let them go.

I would suggest adding some free apps like Spin wheel sales and sales pop up social proof by CareCart that will help you increase your sales. For Cart Abandonment, look out to integrate a cart recovery email app to resolve this and see if the sales graph goes up.

Have seen your store and have some comments:

- I think black is not a suitable color. You sell sporty sneakers, so I think a shining color would be great. 

- I see your Instagram, so you can try to create an Instagram gallery like this:

Check Shoppable Instagram Gallery, this app will help you connect two platforms and create an Instagram feed. You can also tag products on your photos to boost your sales. 

- Don't show all product details on your homepage. Your customers don't want to scroll too much.

Hey there @nick_badolati ! What you're facing is quite natural. Even after such hard work, not being able to grab sales is a bit of a pain. Here's what I'd like to suggest - 

1. Stop running your ads for the time being and reach out to customers who have abandoned their carts. Maybe a sudden price drop or a free gift card would motivate them to resume shopping! 

2. The description of your products is quite big! Don't do that. If you want to talk about your brand, you can have a separate page of it, but don't create lengthy product descriptions. 

3. Although your site looks amazing but black and rusty color just doesn't do well. Maybe a black and white would perfectly blend in with your store! 

Also, is your social media marketing going well? If ads are not giving decent results, you should try and bring traffic from organic sources for the time being. Upgrading your store is an ongoing process, let's move on to the next phase - drafting an effective sales strategy and the idea of going to different marketplaces - that's how you'll be exposing your store to a wider array of audiences!
