However, in this post today, we would like to pick one of the greatest Shopify stores (high ranking and traffic - we chose from the Built With website) and we’re gonna comment on great factors that the store is having, and we hope that our feedback will also help other merchants to improve your stores.

Have a favicon
Having a favicon to your store will make your store unique and helps customers easily recognize it.

Have an announcement bar
Basically, the announcement bar will announce the information about shipping and discount or any promotion campaign of a store.
Have a sticky drop-down menu with a hovering function
A drop-down menu with the hovering function will let customers easily access the menu all the time and anytime and they can read all and just choose the one they want.
Especially, the menu has a search bar, and making a search bar prominent is very important. This helps customers feel rest assured and they can search anytime when they scroll up or down on the home page.
Without the drop-down menu, customers need to spend time exploring all potential matching menus.
Have a clear banner image with the CTA button
Many stores have the same problem. On the banner image on the top of the home page, they just show an image with no relation to the store’s products or the image has low quality and customers find it hard to see which products that store sells.
This store has a high-quality image with the product is the center of the image.
Moreover, the CTA button is designed to be clear attractive.
Show off featured collections
This is a good point to show customers what collections are trending now. Moreover, with the sticky menu, customers can access other collections of the store.
Display social media
As usual, social media is one of the effective ways to get more traffic and make a good connection with your customers. By displaying social media such as Instagram (or Facebook, Twitter) and constantly update the feed.
Great design for different button types
It is suggested that different buttons that are responsible for different functions should be designed differently. This also means that the same CTA buttons must have the same styling. And the primary button(s) should be designed the most visually prominent.
Have direct links for the "Return Policies" and "Shipping info" on the footer
Have secondary hover images for the product list
By presenting secondary hover images, customers can easily scan many products to see extra visual information.
Present essential information
It is very important to show essential information such as product name, product price, color swatch (if your store has), and CTA buttons.
This collection page combines successfully 2 factors above to make sure customers won’t overlook or discard any information.
Use the Load More button instead of the Pagination
Generally, customers are discouraged from browsing more of the product list that has multiple pagination links (the number of pages) and they spend more time on the first page.
By using the Load more button, customers can compare products loading on one page. This helps to create a constant buying experience for customers and decrease the bounce rate.
Provide 3-5 images from different angles
It can’t be denied that customers easily have an overview of products when shopping in physical stores, therefore, when they shopping online, we need to make them feel the same. This is the reason why providing images from different angles and in-scales is very important. Because if your store doesn’t show off enough images for customers to illustrate, they will be hesitant to take action. This product is also presented on a human model, and of course, this is a good point.
Have color swatches
Color is basic and important to be a variant of a product. By giving customers visible colors, they don't have to wonder or even find because some customers just focus on the image and they see only one color you provide there.
Sometimes, the drop-down menu showing the color is not a good choice because customers have to spend time to compare because they have to choose one by one without having full color shown.
Have upsell-cross sell section
This is a good way to encourage customers to view more products because your store is proactively giving them more choices.

Trust Seals are important for an online store, they give trust to customers.
Basically, trust seals can be placed inside the product details and as you mentioned, they can be put beside the product image, or under the product description, etc.
But if you don't want to display them many times, you can put them on the header or footer and they're fixed there.
