Hi,

I have this new store: https://tcmarketshop.com/ and I would appreciate some feedback from you guys. What I am looking for :

Design Feedback: Please be specific (you should use these colors, in the header you can put x, maybe add pictures like, etc)
Functionality Feedback: Please be Specific ( This link doesn't work, when I click on x it redirects me to z etc)
User Experience: Please Be Specific ( if I were a customer I can't see x, it is hard for me to read/find z,  this doesn't make me feel safe, etc)
Other/overall: Any feedback it helps me Thanks

At the moment I am struggling with traffic. It seems that ppl are bouncing off my site (80% bounce rate). I am using, Google ads, Facebook Ads and a bit of Pinterest ads with no real success,( ~ 1000 k users with 0 orders, 2000k Shopify sessions ) but I am on a tight budget here and I need to find why ppl are finding my Store not helpful or I need to find a bigger and cheaper traffic source (maybe both ) . If you have some tips here it would be great too.

Thanks a lot for helping me, any kind of feedback is welcomed and highly appreciated.

Hey, I loved your store. Astounding products. Before wasting all your money on facebook ads learn that your site doesn't convert your traffic sales—You need to validate your website before you spend money on traffic (ads). You need to make your store ready for engagement. Make sure your store is ready to capture and engage new visitors. If not then you may end up losing all your money. Because if you’re seeing a good amount of traffic but it’s not translating into sales, it may indicate there’s something about your site that’s not convincing customers to go through with a purchase.
Here are some minor suggestions that is not allowing to make sales on your store-
-Provide contact information throughout your site, including a Contact Us page. Don’t act like you’re hiding from your customers; that will hardly make them more trusting!
-Yes, banner and pop-up ads can help you generate extra revenue through your company website. And make sure that you delay it to one minute to give your customers a bit more time to look around the homepage.
-Display reviews and testimonials, Whether you’ve got Google reviews, Facebook ratings, or simply positive comments that customers have emailed to you, make sure you creatively showcase them on your store.
- Create an engaging and interactive website. I see engagement missing in your store. I would love to suggest you what more can be added in order to boost up your sales and low down your bounce rate.
You need your potential customers to feel like you’re honest and worthy of their investment. Your website can go a long way in that regard. Use these tips to help your site cultivate trust. There are other "must have" suggestions as well. Let's discuss it in detail - http://bit.ly/2JKqcgk. You can also email me at support@aitrillion.com.

Samina.

Hey there, @Heph1s

Bo here from Shopify Support!

The first thing that I looked at here were your product titles descriptions. A lot of merchants adjust the description slightly from Oberlo and then post it to their page, I can't be certain but it does look like this was the case with your store. The issue with this is that the titles from Oberlo are often very long-winded and actually rather incoherent. The reason for this is that they are trying to cram as many keywords into their titles so their products are easy to find, however, for a customer-facing store this does not look good. It doesn't look very professional and those who are familiar with Oberlo/AliExpress will recognize the format. So while you have done a great job in curating the products, you do need to do some more work to market them better on your site. Your product descriptions themselves seem to repeat themselves a bit between the initial descriptions and the descriptions in the tabs.

With online stores, there are no sales representatives and so the products literally need to speak for themselves. Instead of listing your products' specs in your current format you should try writing descriptions that persuade the customer to buy the item. Why do they need this watch? How will it make their life better? I recommend taking a look at Oberlo's guide on writing a product description that sells here. This will also help you improve your SEO which will bring more traffic to your store organically.

Your store, in my opinion, is far too varied. It does not have a distinct image or identity. Personally, when I am shopping for something specific, be it a pair of jeans, a kitchen knife or a power hoze I would go to a store that specializes in this. I would not buy all three in the same store in any case. I think having such a varied array of products in the one store is offputting. It also makes your marketing more difficult to do as you do not have a targeted audience, your store is too varied for this. And so, your marketing attempts have to be very broad making for much fewer conversions. Stores that specialise tend to have higher conversion rates because their target audience can be cornered out and marketed to much more easily.

I noticed that you do not have an About Us page, it is, however. The About Us is probably the most underutilized marketing tool on Online Stores. What an About Us page should be is a goal-oriented sales page, one that focuses on highlighting the biggest selling points of your story and brand, making a strong impression on curious customers. It is the perfect place to highlight a number of objectives such as:

-  Communicate the story of your business and why you started it.
-  Describe the customers or the cause that your business serves.
-  Explain your business model or how your products are made.
-  Put a face to your business, featuring the founders, or, the people on your team.
-  Incorporate persuasive content (e.g. an explainer video, data visualizations, links to blog posts) that might otherwise clutter your homepage

In short, your online store displays your products brilliantly, your "About Us" page should be telling your customer why they should buy from you.

All the Best,

Bo

Hello,

I just had look into your website. It's looking good.
Check this image https://snag.gy/TwhmAG.jpg. Why you have website menu in product page? Your website product page not looking good.
Have You created your store Instagram page? I would suggest to you can add your store Instagram page link under Instagram icon. You can use open new tab on the links on the footer section and items on grid page, then customers are spent more time on your store.

Thanks,
Appfreaker.

Hi Bo,

First of all, I would like to Thank You for taking the time to give me this feedback, I appreciate it. So :

Product Titles :

I completely overlook this part ( and the most important one), got all my attention on the small details rather than this. I will get to work asap, I just need to read 20 min about google algo for titles.
Question: The Product Title and Meta Title should be different? As in, from Seo point of view, it will help?

Product Description :
When you are saying that "Your product descriptions themselves seem to repeat themselves a bit between the initial descriptions and the descriptions in the tabs" are you referring to this?

Bo.JPG

If Yes, I really don't know how to remove that mini description (i have tried ) the theme takes it and puts it there by default.
Product Description :
Hmm, I know what you are saying, I can do better here. I will test different " templates" of product descriptions according to the product niche. Uhh, that's a lot of work there with the titles and product description.
Store variations :
I know that my store has many products, in other words, it is too varied--- and it will only get bigger from here. When I started this I made this choice knowing that it will be more difficult in terms of marketing and budgeting /niche/products/audience/targeting etc. But if and when you get the snowball spinning it will be easier (cross target/upsell/Cross, maybe move some audience to a niche store - Who Knows). Also, I tend to disagree, as a consumer, with the fact that ppl won't buy from the same store kitchen knife and lipstick (ex). But I got your point it is easier with a niche store and CR % is higher.
About Us - The Story: I'll get on that asap, you are right. Again how did I overlook that?? :((

Bo, Again Thanks a lot. Very useful tips You are the best.

Have a Great Day,

Heph1s

Hi Samina,

Thanks for your feedback and I am glad that you like my store (That's motivating ).

Pop-up Banners - Do you recommend exit pop-up or 45-sec pop-up at the entry? Personally, I am annoyed by pop-ups, but it is not about me it is about my customers.
Contact Us - I see your point, I will get that more visible Thx
Reviews - I have reviewed most of them with pics for about all products. Do you have any tips here where I can creatively display them beside the product page?
Create an engaging and interactive website: can you suggest something or put me in the right direction (i will do the digging) to solve this?
You need your potential customers to feel like you’re honest and worthy of their investment: any info on how do I do this? I have payment secure display on site and McAfee Secure.

Let's discuss it in detail - I've learned a lot by reading Shopify Community posts, from others and their challenges. I think that it really brings value for us (those at the beginning of the road), and I prefer to get into the details here so others can read and learn as I am doing. So if you are kind please let's get the details here

Thank You again Samina for your Feedback I really appreciate it.

Hi, The Guy From @appfreaker_com

Why you have a website menu on the product page? - Aaa...Dunno  :) never thought about that, it seemed right that way. But I see your point here and after investigated some similar websites it seems you are correct. The proper way is not to have that there :)) Thx
I would suggest you can add your store Instagram page link under Instagram icon - Yes I have an Instagram page, not a lot of content yet, but it is a very good idea. I'll fix that ASAP.

Thank you @appfreaker_com !

Hey,

I am glad that I could be a help to you.

Pop-up Banners-  I would personally recommend you to go for a 45-sec-pop-up at the entry. Conversion rates for pop ups are high and most surprising discovery is that the pop up doesn't increase bounce rate at all. This is ample time for your audience to get hooked by your content, whilst also being quick enough to catch skimmers before they leave.

Reviews - You can create a seperate review page. I would recommend you to add a button on your homepage so that every new visitor can get a glance.

Create an engaging and interactive website- Engaged and loyal customers, can lead to an increase and repeat sales and also eventually lower down your cost of acquisition. Here are some ways to achieve that-

-Loyalty Program- Start using loyalty programs for customers for every action they take on your store. A loyalty program entices your visitors to keep engaged with your product and website. Infact you can rewards loyalty points to your store visitors when they "allow" your push notification opt-in or when they share your store on social media and alot of other activities.

-Web Push Notifications- Push notifications, which allows you to send push notifications in real-time to user's browser. Engage customers will lead to an increase in repeat customers.

-Reviews- As mentioned above-  It gives your customer a way to obtain a neutral opinion about the product, and thus this makes your website more engaging. These are real customers who have tried your product. A review platform allows the customer to directly engage with the brand.

-Blogs-  Using a blog, you can educate customers about your product or services. You can use the blog to share customer success stories and how your product helped them to solve problems. As we know, "Content is King", post valuable post which benefits the readers.

-Chatbot- Chatbots in your business is that they save time. For instance, when used on your website they can provide fast, automated answers to most questions. This will engage your customers and prevent customers from waiting a day or longer to receive responses as they would have in the past.

This is how you can engage your customers on your store. If you want I can schedule a free demo call with aitrillion support team (which will assist you in finding a perfect marketing solution for your online store). So that you can have a better undestanding about how to "creatively engage and retain your customers".

Hey there, @Heph1s

Thank you for being so receptive of my feedback. From an SEO point of view, it does not really matter if the meta title and the product title are different. Most people would keep them the same as to reduce any confusion for a customer when they click from a Google search into the product itself.

Product Description:

That is what I was referring to. What theme are you using? Are you using an app for these tabs or are they built into the theme natively?

All the Best,

Bo
