Store SEO and Increasing Traffic

I have been working for a month or longer on my website and I need to have it evaluated. I need to know what to do better. I have people (customers)  in our area visit it (some sales) but not many people from outside ohio.  Things I have been working on everyday: product descriptions, front page changes, blog posts and social media. I feel like I have an SEO failure. Please give me any suggestions that you may have.
