This is an accepted solution.

Hi @Perry2020 ,

Dani here from Shopify!

Thanks for writing in and congratulations on starting your online store! Getting genuine traffic and making your first few sales is always a major milestone for anyone starting out. Check out this blog post for some tips and tricks for breaking through this barrier.

As for your website, the first thing I noticed that would make your website seem more professional is to replace the product descriptions and titles with your own words. It looks like you haven't edited these since you imported, and it's difficult for the customers to relate to the products and see why they need to buy them. Oberlo has an awesome blog post for writing epic product descriptions that sell!

Second, I would actually remove some of the sections on your homepage so that it is easy to scan. Many customers know that a lot of the vital store information is found in the footer menu of the site, so may look there right away for a contact page, sizing information, and store policies. I would definitely consider adding these menu items to your footer as this will also build trust with your customers. In fact, I would actually move this information to your footer to offer a cleaner experience when your customers first land on your page.

As for the policies, you can create these using our Policy Generator tool or in your admin by going to Settings > Legal. Once created, don't forget to add them to your footer menu to see them on your storefront!

Continuing with the trust building theme, have you thought about adding customer reviews to your store? Many customers won't purchase if they can't see reviews that other customers have left. This will give them the sizing and experience information they need to make a confident decision to purchase. If you've imported from AliExpress you can use the AliReviews app to add reviews straight from AliExpress. If not, then maybe our own Product Reviews app would be right for you!

Lastly, I would consider ordering samples of your products so that you can take your own product photography. As you have a fairly large catalog this may be more difficult, but if you start slow and gradually complete your catalog you'll find a much more cohesive look to your store. This will also allow you to sample the products and have first hand experience with the quality. Take a look at our guide for DIY product photography here.

Have you looked at the analytics from your ads? We'll want to make sure that your targeting the right traffic for your store! You may be interested in one of our free courses on the Shopify Academy - in particular I thought you may like this one for Facebook customer acquisition.

Please let me know if you have any further questions, I'd be happy to continue helping you!

All the best,

Dani

Hey,

If you are getting views this surely means visitors are interested to buy from your store, however they might not have found your store appealing, though it's a gem of a store but surely you can work on few aspects mentioned down below which will help you in settling UI and overall functionality which will build trust for visitors and eventually drive you a lot better sales.

  1. For engaging new customers, add a section of best-selling products.
Add some social links to the footer for better connectivity.

  2. For some sales in the start, you need to offer some discounts to get going as a promotional offer.
Also, it would be great if you can create a seperate sale page for discounted products.

  3. You can add social media links, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram on the site footer.
  4. You have around 50 products , visitor might feel hard to find the right product.
Also your search page is bit off and empty https://luchury.com/search?q= Don't you think if suggestions are offered to searchbar, there will be a lot of chances for a visitor to buy from your store?
I would recommend to replace the default search with advanced search like Sparq which allows synonyms, advanced custom tag filters, spelling correction and other such feature. Visitors with search are high intent users and their conversion rate is higher than normal users.
Check out the features live here.

  5. If you're suffering from lots of traffic and little sales due to abandoned carts, you're not the only one— and PushOwl could be the answer you're looking for. Automated abandoned cart push notifications can help you increase sales and re-engage visitors to your site who have left.

I hope my  I feedback will help you converting visitors into customers.

    Neha:)

Sparq is a fast and beautiful product filter and search solution for Shopify store owners. It allows store owners to add a custom tag, metadata, or variant based filters on their collection page and upgrade their default search to an extremely fast, more user-friendly and feature-rich search.

Hi @Perry2020

Hey nice job on your store. Honestly it's quite good, I like it a lot. There are a few tiny things I would change.

One thing to consider is adding a FAQ section. If your customer can't find an answer to their questions they may not buy from you. Adding an FAQ section will help to add trust, and make it so your customer doesn't need to leave your site, to find an answer to their question.

An important thing I couldn't find is social media links. Adding social media for your store can go a long way in fostering a brand

Also I noticed that you don't have reviews. It would be good to add reviews for your products. Think about it when was the last time you bought a product without reading the reviews first? I think you should definitely add some reviews.

Did you think about adding a blog. If you had a blog more customers might be able to find your site, and even if they aren't ready to buy at the moment they are reading your blog, they are more likely to buy from you in the future.

Did you think about adding a sense of urgency. Imagine you are a customer browsing an online store. Maybe you are ready to buy maybe you aren't. But there is a good chance you aren't in the buying mood at the moment. If you add a sense of urgency to your store it can help more of your customers to buy, and have them buy faster. One way you can do so is by adding https://apps.shopify.com/better-countdown .

After browsing your store I noticed I wasn't able to find an always visible buy button. Your buy button is the most important button on your site and it should always be within the thumbs reach of the customer. Take a look at your store (especially on your phone), and try to easily find your buy button, especially when you are on the bottom of the page. If your buy button isn't always visible you are making it harder for your customer to buy. Consider adding https://apps.shopify.com/better-sticky-checkout-button-increase-your-sales , it will help it make it easier for your customer to buy from you.

Nice job on your all of your hard work so far, and I'm sure that just a few minor changes will really help.

P.S. I created an email course at https://mailchi.mp/7d8692283c12/shopify-conversion-course, after reviewing a bunch of stores I noticed that there are a few tips that might help, and I created an email list to help with it.

Hi @Perry2020 !

Thanks for following up and sharing those screenshots. That looks to be an issue localized to AliExpress, so it may be best to reach out to their support directly. However, from the screenshots it looks like no products have been selected as the total price is still $0.00. Try selecting the product by clicking the checkbox next to it, and then proceeding with checkout.

If that doesn't work, here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try before contacting AliExpress

I hope this helps, and please let me know if you have any further questions!

Hey, wonderful products. The home page should be visually pleasing and must attract appropriate and potential visitors to your site. In order to capture the immense attention of your visitors, try to add some of these following points in your homepage-
Slideshow Image
Collection List
Something Interesting ( maybe little about your story with a link to about page )
Newsletter Sign Up
Popular Products ( 4-8 Max )
You can add a slider of images and add featured products to it. Also, you can add video for top-selling products to make it more creative and interactive.

You should increase the engagement on your store. Start using a loyalty program and referral program to entice your customers. It will help you build a loyal customer base. You can give loyalty points to your customers on activities like signing up, allowing for web push notifications, make a purchase, visiting a store and many more. This will help in doubling the sales as when you give loyalty points to your customers they will come again on your store to make a purchase in order to redeem those points. You can give rewards to your customers to redeem those points. The referral program is very helpful when it comes to good word of mouth and brand awareness. It is one of the successful marketing strategies. For all these features try Aitrillion.com.

Hi, Perry 2020,

Your website is already closed. So I can't visit your website. But as you say in the thread, you did ADs on facebook and instagram. My first thought is that you need to change your AD strategy. Maybe you want to attract pet owner into your store, but instead of pet owner, people who love to see cute pet photos visits your website.

Then if you alread get good traffics, use a good abandon cart cart. You may recall that how many times you find a interesting products online, instead of purchasing immediately, you just save them in brower or add them into cart, planning to buy them in future when you need them, but you eventually forgot about them or you find new store/seller before you buy. That what buyer do. So find a good abandon cart app. You may try this one
