Traffic but no sales!

Hi good people,

 

I have been using Shopify for about three months now. I already have spent all of my budget on a lot of different kind of tailored Facebook and Google ads.

I made sure of navigations, SEOs, good product description (i think), live chat support. Yet i don't have much sales. No ROI..

Please help me figure out the issue.

Dear ah_mady,

 

  • Your store is still new, only three months. You need to make brand yourself
  • Do remarketing on ads
  • Do A/B testing
  • Do Email marketing
  • Run single ads platform at least 1 month without any changes frequently excluding budget and bid, then optimize the result and take decision.
  • Regarding SEO for low and medium keywords it takes minimum 3- six months for ranking and for high keywords it takes more time, and you have to produce regular high quality beaclinks for that in regular manner.
  • Improve your social proof

I just had a look at your store, your store looks great. I have a few suggestions for you hope they might help you.

 

  • I have found that there are only a few products in your store, try adding more products so that your customers will have a lot of options to select from.
  • Also, try adding SEO related high search keywords in your title and product description so that it will be very easy to market your products and display them at the top in google search.
  • Add a blog page, blog page helps you to share more about your website and products which increases your site visibility.

I hope your business is going well during these difficult times. I checked your store website, and I have a few tips and feedback I'd like to share,

1. The logo isn't much attractive and brand name is mentioned nowhere on the homepage A attractive logo with the brand name written Also updated sliding images with better themes will be helpful because the banner image will signify the theme of the website.
2. The addition of most viewed or most liked section on your homepage will significantly increase the percentage of gallery review. Ask your customers to rate your products as this will help build trust and loyalty for the brand.
3. Branded video content is likely to take over consumers who are 300% most likely to watch a video about a product rather than read a description. Add a section of frequently brought/suggested items this will increase the product value and it will be reviewed as well.
4. Bigger images in your catalouge view product list with bigger images and hidden description can increase sales and will add brand value to your products. Ensure that every product has large images in the product view that zoom to fill the browser window.
5. Engaging the audience by writing blogs with better titles and promoting them on various social media platforms will be helpful. The wishlist feature allows a user to mark items they are interested in and revisit these items at a later date. 
6. Product badges are a great way to highlight specific products in your store so they stand out. Getting your customers to take notice of the best product offerings and promotions means your sales campaigns should be even more successful. You can even combine product badges with proven marketing techniques such as scarcity and social proof and your products should sell even faster.

Hey, 

I agree with the other posters here to fix some of those issues. But right now we can only point out things we see.

There's a lot of the process we can't see.

My advice is to start tracking your data and then make the changes and see if it impacts your metrics. You need to look at it from different perspectives not just conversion rate, but bounce rate, time on page, cart abandonment rate, and product detail view rate at the minimum to understand what can be improved.
