So basically my website is www.gameflix.co.uk ... I have had 161 visitors in the last 7 days and 4 add to carts so a 2.12% add to cart rate, I must be honest the site was practically down for half the week as I was adding new features to the site!
I really need to make that first sale and get the ball rolling, and I wanted to know how my site is looking to you all so far? I'm using social media to market my website, so we have around 4K Instagram followers and we post around 3 times a day to try and push then to our site, otherwise we have a small amount of followers on Twitter, Pinterest and Facebook but we are actively trying to grow them from today as well. I have done a little bit of SEO but nothing much.
Should I change anything? Or should I just keep pushing forward and keep doing what I'm doing ? We get about 1-2 add to carts a day when the site is online properly. :)
Thanks a lot for your time!
Check this marketing video from shopify successful user hope this helps you a lot:https://www.codegearthemes.com/pages/shopify-ecommerce-marketing-video-cources
Your website looks good on small screens, but on widescreens the images are all blurry and the text dissappears on some images.
Othervise, your web store looks really good. But I would recommend you to use apps which will increase the overall conversion rate. Like abandoned cart emails or showing recent orders to create a social pressure on your website. You can use an app called show recent orders for that.
Do you only sell in the UK or also on the rest of Europe?
You have few posts in Facebook, this is the platform where most people will be on surfing. I suggest to improve your facebook promotion, refer this link https://www.shopify.com/blog/37293125-an-introduction-to-facebook-ads-for-ecommerce
All the Best...
Hi Adele, Yes I see what you meant about the text disappearing, I've fixed this now (hopefully!)... as for the blurry images they're not really blurry on my end?
Yes I will start using some more apps for those purposes thank you! I'll take a look at your app too!
We were selling only to the UK, but I will open up to the rest of Europe as well now. Hopefully one day we can start selling in the USA too.
Thanks very much for your help!
