We launched a store a few months ago but aren't getting much traffic or sales.

Hey Matthew,

I took a look at your store and it looks good. The design of the page nicely complements the products. Also very interesting niche. I might have some tips for you to improve a little.

  • I agree with the previous responder that you should add info about shipping. Move it from FAQ to its own page so the visitors might find it better.
  • The product descriptions could use some work. Maybe try to write some suggestions for what the product may be used for.
  • You might want your social media links to open in a new tab so your customers stay on your website and are not redirected elsewhere. Here you can find how you can do it.
  • Once you have enough visitors you may think about approaching them with retargeting ads. You can try our app ROI Hunter Easy for that. It generates personalized ads with products your visitors left in the cart or have browsed. Sometimes, the visitors make a purchase immediately but usually, they need more than one visit to make a decision and it's good to remind them of your store.

Hi Matt,

While some of the suggestions may be good; I strongly disagree that adding "Secure Seal, Money Back Seal" will help on conversation rate.

Be careful adding extra, unnecessary stuff to your site. You don't want a website with so much going on. Keep it nice, clean and simple!

You can ask someone (experienced) for advice. For example, you may ask a Shopify customer representative.

Call or chat with a couple different people and get thier opinion about trusted badges. Adding this can even hurt your business, rather than helping. Anyone can add a Secure Trusted Seal.

I see several users here, commenting on forums "helping" but all they want is people to install their apps. 

In short, do a little bit of research on this. :)
